Travel at Park Tudor
At Park Tudor, global citizenship begins at home.
We believe students should first understand their own community before exploring the wider world. Travel experiences are intentionally sequenced so students begin by investigating Indianapolis and Indiana, then expand to regional and national destinations, and ultimately engage with international cultures and communities. Each experience builds upon the last, helping students develop curiosity, confidence, empathy, and perspective.
From a first-grader discovering how apples grow at Tuttle Orchard to a senior representing their country in international debate at The Hague, travel at Park Tudor is never an add-on. It is an extension of the classroom and an essential part of how students learn to thrive in heart and mind.
The world gets bigger—and at the same time, closer.
By graduation, Park Tudor students have explored their local community, engaged with different cultures, built meaningful relationships, and developed the confidence to contribute thoughtfully in an interconnected world.

Open to Every Student
Every Park Tudor travel opportunity is designed with inclusion and access in mind. Programs are open to all students who meet the eligibility requirements for each experience, and financial assistance is available to eligible families.
Park Tudor provides travel assistance for one domestic and one international experience per division, helping ensure that meaningful travel remains accessible to every student.

Lower School
Grades JK1-5th
In Lower School, students explore Indianapolis and communities throughout Indiana, connecting classroom learning with hands-on experiences in nature, science, history, and community life. These signature experiences encourage students to ask questions, make observations, and develop an appreciation for the world immediately around them.
Middle School
Grades 6-8
Middle School travel helps students connect academic learning to real places, people, and institutions.
Students move beyond Indiana to explore major cultural, historical, scientific, and civic destinations throughout the United States while continuing to develop independence and confidence as travelers.
Upper School
Grades 9-12
Upper School students have access to a wide range of domestic and international opportunities through academic departments, competitive organizations, athletics, and study-abroad programs.
Each experience is designed to deepen learning, broaden perspectives, and prepare students to engage confidently with an interconnected world.
Uruguay Exchange
Grades 5-6
The first opportunity for international travel begins in the fifth and sixth grades through one of Park Tudor’s most distinctive educational traditions.
For more than twenty years, Park Tudor has partnered with Scuola Italiana di Montevideo (SIM) in Uruguay through a reciprocal cultural exchange program unlike any other in the region.
Spoleto Study Abroad Program
Grades 9-12
Since 1997, Park Tudor has been a founding member of the Spoleto Study Abroad Program in Spoleto, Italy.
As part of this nationally recognized NAIS consortium, students immerse themselves in Italy’s artistic and cultural heritage
