PRESIDENT ELECTS (2)
The President Elect(s) shall: assist the President(s); attend Parent Network meetings and act as the liaison between Division Directors, the Parent Network and the PTPA; work with the Parent Network to secure volunteers for the Fall Family Festival, Faculty & Staff Appreciation Luncheon, any other PTPA special events, and as needed by Division Directors; plan and help implement any other PTPA events and activities. The President Elect position is a three-year commitment on the PTPA board: one year as President Elect, one year as President, and one year as Immediate Past President serving in an advisory capacity.
EVENT COORDINATORS (2)
The Event Coordinator(s) are social chairpersons of the PTPA and are responsible for making the arrangements (room reservations, refreshments, etc.) for the PTPA Executive Board meetings, PTPA general meetings, Head of School Addresses, and PTPA special events, including the Fall Family Festival and Parent Socials. The Event Coordinators work closely with the President Elect(s) to establish subcommittees to plan and implement PTPA special events, including Fall Family Festival and Parent Socials.
RECORDING SECRETARY
The Recording Secretary keeps a record of all meetings of the PTPA, the Executive Board and the Executive Committee, sends copies of minutes and agendas to the President(s), keeps an updated copy of the bylaws and the standing rules in the PTPA permanent files, and performs such other duties as usually pertain to the office.
MEDIA COORDINATOR
The Media Coordinator notifies all Park Tudor parents of upcoming PTPA general meetings and special events, writes articles for the PT Times Online about PTPA events and activities, posts notices about the PTPA to the Park Tudor Facebook page and other appropriate social media platforms (including the PTPA web page), and acts as a liaison between the PTPA and the Park Tudor Communications Office.
TREASURER
The Treasurer works closely with the Park Tudor Business Office, who manages all finances of the PTPA. The Treasurer keeps a record of all money received and expended by the PTPA, ensures only funds authorized by the PTPA Executive Board is disbursed (except for routine mandatory bills), reports at each meeting and other times when requested, and makes an annual report. The Treasurer also prepares and delivers the financial records to the Park Tudor Financial Office and assists the school, as needed, in the preparation of any required financial filings.
