Welcome New Employees

We are pleased to welcome the following new employees to Park Tudor for the 2019-2020 school year:

Ashley Bennett, First Grade Teacher: Ashley has relocated to Indianapolis from California, where she taught first and second grade at Lexington Elementary School. She has also taught kindergarten, as well as technology to K-6 students. She earned B.A. degrees in Elementary Education and World History from Indiana University in Indianapolis.
 
Kelly Cleveland, Lower School Instructional Assistant/Permanent Substitute Teacher: A 2014 graduate of Park Tudor, Kelly also earned her B.A. in psychology at Indiana University-Bloomington, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Social Work at IUPUI. She has been working as a substitute teacher at Park Tudor since October, and now will be filling that role permanently beginning this school year.
 
Sarah Cook, Lower School Counselor: Sarah brings extensive experience to Park Tudor; she has served as a Professional School Counselor at Pleasant View Elementary School in Yorktown, Indiana; Storer Elementary School in Muncie, Indiana; Old St. Mary’s School in Chicago; and Francis W. Parker School in Chicago. She also has experience as an Assistant Teacher, as well as a Cross Country and Track and Field Coach. Sarah earned a Master of Education in School Counseling from DePaul University and holds an Indiana School Counseling Licensure.
 
Bethanie Cosman, Middle School History Teacher: Most recently, Bethanie was Lead Teacher for fifth grade geography at the Harpeth Hall School in Nashville, Tennessee. She has also taught third and fourth grade at Herbert Hoover Elementary School in Iowa City. She earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa, and a M.Ed. from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
 
Megan Crawford, Instructional Assistant: Megan graduated in May from Indiana University in Bloomington with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. She has completed student teaching at Lantern Road Elementary School (Hamilton Southeastern), Edgewood Intermediate School and Shawswick Elementary School.
 
Halley Gallagher, Instructional Assistant: Most recently, Halley has served as a Behavior Therapist for Access Behavior Analysis implementing individual treatment plans and behavior intervention plans. Previously, she was a Primary Teacher at Bright Horizons in Indianapolis. She is currently completing a degree in Tourism, Conventions and Event Management from IUPUI.
 
Sherri Gapinski, Fine Arts Administrative Assistant: Sherri joins Park Tudor from the Art Institute of Indianapolis, where she was an Executive Assistant. She has also served as Administrative Assistant at Charles A. Spillman & Co., PC, an accounting firm. Sherri holds a B.A. in Education from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.
 
Holly Glenn, Instructional Assistant: Holly is a recent graduate of IUPUI, earning a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. She completed her student teaching at Greenbriar Elementary School, as well as William Penn Elementary School (IPS 49).
 
Krista Hays, Alumni Relations Officer: Krista comes to Park Tudor from Fortune Academy, where she was Funds Development Manager. In that role, she spearheaded many special events and fundraisers, and cultivated strong relationships with a variety of constituents. Prior to transitioning into development, Krista worked in marketing and served as a substitute teacher at St. Simon the Apostle School. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Wittenberg University.
 
Emily Hoff, Lower School Spanish Teacher: Emily has taught level 1 and 2 Spanish at Hamilton Southeastern High School, as well as Spanish levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 at Huntington North High School. In addition, she has been a sponsor of the Spanish Club, Diversity Club, and GSA among other clubs, and was the Class of 2020 Sponsor at Hamilton Southeastern. Emily earned a B.S. in Education from Indiana University in Bloomington, and has also studied abroad at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
 
Mallory Jurkash, Lower School Technology Integrator: Most recently, Mallory was a STEM Innovation Specialist at Cedar Elementary School in Avon, working with students in kindergarten through fourth grade. She created her own curriculum for that position and was named “Teacher of the Year” for the 18-19 school year. Prior to that, she taught third grade at Cedar Elementary and second grade at Frank H. Hammond School in Munster. Mallory earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana Wesleyan University.
 
Joe Macko, Annual Fund Officer: Most recently, Joe was Director of Development for The Foundation Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity. In addition, he has served as Development Assistant at Area 10 Agency on Aging in Ellettsville, Indiana. He earned his B.S. degree in Health Sciences from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University in Bloomington.
 
Scott McDougall, Academic Coach: Scott is returning to Park Tudor; he previously served as Middle School Director, Upper and Middle School science teacher and Science Department Chair, and Associate Academic Dean among other roles. Most recently, Scott taught science at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. Scott holds a B.A. in Biology from Hope College, a M.A.T. in Biology from the University of South Carolina, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Research from the University of South Carolina.
 
Jamie Napier, Upper School Math Teacher: Jamie comes to Park Tudor from The Orchard School, where he was Middle School Divisional Director for the last three years. Previously, Jamie was Assistant Head of School, math & physics teacher and boys and girls varsity swim coach at University High School. He has also taught at Butler University. Jamie earned B.A. degrees in Mathematics and Education from Transylvania University, and a M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Purdue University.
 
Rebecca Nelson, Instructional Assistant: Rebecca was previously a Teaching Assistant at Park Tudor during the 2016-2017 school year, and then spent the past two years teaching fifth grade at Elwood Community Schools in Elwood, Indiana. She earned a B.S. degree in Psychology from Shenandoah University in Virginia, and an Endorsement for Teacher of Students with Disabilities K-5 from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.
 
Grace Perry, Instructional Assistant: Grace graduated in June from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (K-8). While in school, she completed student teaching in third grade classroom at a private school in Salt Lake City. She has also been a Before & After School Care Assistant at Monon Trail Elementary School in Westfield, as well as a Daycare Assistant at a daycare center in Zionsville.
 
Abigail Radcliffe, Instructional Assistant: Abigail is a 2018 graduate of Marian University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. She is currently pursuing a MFA in poetry at Butler University. Andrea has been an Early Childhood Education Teacher at the JCC in Indianapolis, as well as an Instructional Assistant and Teacher at Sylvan Learning Centers in Anderson and Fishers.
 
Michael Saridakis, Upper School Latin Teacher: Michael graduated in May with a Master of Arts in Teaching Latin from Kent State University, and also holds a B.A. in Classical Studies from the College of Wooster. He completed his student teaching and teaching practicum at Orange High School in Ohio. He also gained teaching experience at the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center in Akron, Ohio, and completed a student teaching internship at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland.
 
Christina Walters, Instructional Assistant: Christina graduated in May from IUPUI with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She completed her student teaching at Meredith Nicholson Elementary School, and also has experience as a nanny and Head Teacher at KinderCare Learning Center.
