Studio 72, Park Tudor's student group of sports photographers and designers, got an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the world of professional sports design during a hands-on workshop with Grant Wayner, Senior Graphic Designer for the Indianapolis Colts.

A 2023 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a BFA in Visual Communication Design, Grant brought a wealth of real-world experience to the classroom. His career journey has taken him from designing for the Los Angeles Chargers (2021–2023), leading creative projects for Indiana Wesleyan Athletics (2019–2023), and even working with Prep Baseball Report.

During the workshop, students explored how the Colts' striking graphics are created using Adobe Photoshop. Grant shared insider techniques and industry-level tips, allowing students to apply what they learned in real time.

From learning how to layer like a pro to understanding what makes a graphic stand out in the fast-paced world of sports media, students left inspired—and ready to level up their own design game.
