* Senior Henry Wolfla has officially been named a finalist in the Good Citizen DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Writing Contest. The contest is open to students in public, private, and parochial schools, and registered home study programs. Essays are judged for historical accuracy and adherence to the topic, in addition to their persuasiveness. The Focus question Henry grappled with this year was “How do the combined actions of so many good citizens keep our nation moving forward?” The Jonathan Jennings Chapter DAR Award Luncheon for Henry and other finalists for the awarding of honors and scholarships will be a Zoom event this year on March 18.
* Two Park Tudor students competed in the Del Nelson Memorial Speech Tournament over the weekend. Abigail Langer competed in Impromptu and Nandini Mathavan competed in Original Oratory. Nandini made it to the final round and placed in the top four in her category.
* Upper School Permanent Sub Kyle Craig had his poem “Catch and Release” published in the “Barnstorm” Literary Journal. Click here to read the poem.
