* Senior Alyssa Gaines was featured in an article in the Indianapolis Star spotlighting her poetry and accomplishments as one of four finalists in the National Youth Poet Laureate Program. Read the article here.

* After submitting the poems she wrote in her English I class, freshman Lani Beard has been accepted into the Advanced Poetry Ellipsis Writing Workshop, an online summer program designed for ambitious and promising creative writers looking to proactively engage with writing beyond the confines of the classroom. Lani will be working with contemporary poet Steven Espada Dawson in the workshop entitled "It Is Not Enough to Love You: Sonnets Against the Sonnet."
