Girls Golf: The girls golf team launched their season on August 6 with the Crooked Stick Invitational. A very difficult course and limited early season practices made for a tough day for the girls competing, but it was a great experience for everyone involved. Sandwiched between two close losses to Cathedral and Perry Meridian, the girls defeated the Brebeuf Braves with a score of 202 to 205. Last Saturday, the team competed in the Lapel Bulldog Classic. While the team did not score as well as they would have liked, the girls competed with a lot of heart on a very hot and humid day. With the season now in full swing the team is focused on continuing to improve their scores in an effort to be playing their best golf when Marion County, Conference, and Sectional matches arrive in a few short weeks.

Boys Soccer: The boys soccer team will open their season this evening as they will host the Golden Eagles from Guerin Catholic High School. The JV is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by the varsity contest at 7:00 p.m. The team will be in action again next Tuesday as they will travel to Lebanon High School to take on the Tigers. The JV is scheduled to begin at 5:30 and the varsity at 7:00.

Football: The football team will open up regular season play tomorrow as they will travel to Clinton Prairie High School tomorrow evening to take on the Gophers. Game time is set for 7:00 pm and due to fan restrictions, only three family members per player may attend. The team will then travel to Madison-Grant High School for their week #2 opponent on 8/28 to take on Argylls at 7:00 pm.

Boys Tennis: The boys tennis team began regular season play Tuesday evening at Guerin High School. The varsity team was defeated 4-1 and the JV team tied 6-6. The team will host the Trojans from Center Grove High School this evening at 5:00 p.m. and will then travel to Fishers High School on Saturday to take on the Tigers at 10:00 a.m.
 
Volleyball: The volleyball team traveled to Wheeler High School on Saturday to take on the Bearcats; they were victorious in three straight sets. The team then hosted the Golden Eagles from Oak Hill High School on Tuesday at The Academy Volleyball Club, continuing their winning streak with another victory in three straight sets. The team will head to Howe High School this evening to take on the Techies from Purdue Polytechnic. The JV is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by the varsity at 6:30 p.m.
 
Cross Country: The boys and girls cross country teams will be in action at the end of August (8/29) at White River Elementary School for the Noblesville Hokum Karem. Racing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. The team will then be in action again as they will compete in the Brownsburg Invite on 9/5 with racing starting at 9:00 am.

Girls Soccer: The girls soccer team opened their season on Monday at Avon vs. the Orioles. The JV team was victorious by the score of 1-0; however, the varsity was unable to pull out a victory and were defeated by the score of 3-1. The Panthers bounced back with a 4-1 victory last night over the Trojans at Bishop Chatard. The team will be in action again on Monday, (8/24) at Heritage Christian; the JV match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 followed by the varsity at 7:00.
