Track and Field: The track and field team participated in a 25-way meet at University of Indianapolis on Saturday. Here were our Top 5 place finishes at the meet:

  • Girls 4 x 400 (K. Ritz, S. Squires, S. Ritz, E. Warner)
  • Girls 4 x 800 (K. Ritz, O. Bryant, M. Harris, L. Lo)
  • Girls DMR (A. Holden, M. Smith, T. Warren, L. Lo)
  • Girls High Jump (E. Warner)
  • Boys 3200 (S. Housten)

This Saturday the team will participate in the Indoor State meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion. Below is a list events that qualified to this meet. Congratulations to all of our athletes who qualified to Indoor State!

Boys Lacrosse: The boys lacrosse team has begun the season 3-1 with victories over Avon, Noblesville, and Carroll (Ft. Wayne) and a 7-6 loss at Bishop Chatard. Game balls were handed out by the captains to Max Sturman (vs. Avon), Connor Kacena-Merrell and Oli Bennett (vs. Chatard), Paddy Flanagan (vs. Noblesville), and Adam Wilkerson (vs. Carroll). The team finishes its pre-spring break slate of games on Friday at Fishers High School at 6:00 p.m. During spring break, the team will travel to Chicagoland for games against Oak Park-River Forest and Nazareth.

Girls Lacrosse: The team is currently 2-3 for the season. The Panthers took on Penn High School at Park Tudor on Saturday, March 14. The JV team lost 6-10, but the varsity won decisively 11-4. Goalie Vivian John continued her excellent goaltending with a 68% save rating. Avery Neiswender had 3 assists, Leann Van Orshoven had a goal and an assist and Ellla Nie had one goal, one assist and 5 draw controls. Lauren Richer was the player of the game with 5 goals and 6 ground balls. On Thursday, March 19, the team lost to an excellent Zionsville team 15-1; Vivian had a career-high 22 saves and was the player of the game. The Panthers hosted Hamilton Southeastern on Tuesday, March 24; the JV team lost 6-10 and the varsity played hard but lost 9-15. Lauren Richer had a game-high 5 goals and Issy Wallace had 4 goals and 1 assist. Defender Sutton Christian was the player of the game. The team hosts Fishers High School on Thursday, March 26. JV will start at 6:00 p.m. and varsity at 7:30.
