Girls Basketball
The girls basketball lost a heart-breaker on Friday evening as they took on the Stars from Western Boone High School in IHSAA sectional semi-final action at Western Boone. The Panthers jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to pull out the win in the end and were defeated by the score of 63-55. This marks the end of a great season for the team as they finished with an overall record of 14-8.

Swimming
The girls swim team wrapped up their season last Thursday and Saturday as they swam in the IHSAA sectional at Brownsburg High School. The girls had a strong season with many personal bests, but were unable to advance in the IHSAA tournament. The boys will be competing in the IHSAA sectional at Decatur Central High School next week. Preliminary action is set for Thursday, 2/20, with finals being held on Saturday, 2/22.

Boys Basketball
The boys basketball team earned a big win this past Saturday as they hosted the Braves from Brebeuf Jesuit. In a very physical match-up, the Panthers were victorious by the score of 38-32. The team is now 12-6 on the year and will be hosting the Trojans from Bishop Chatard High School tomorrow evening. JV is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m. They will then turn around and host the PAAC championships on Saturday (2/15) as they host the Lions from Liberty Christian. JV will begin at noon and the varsity will follow at 1:30 p.m. The IHSAA tournament draw is right around the corner and will be held on Sunday, 2/23, at 3:00 p.m., and can be streamed at www.IHSAAtv.org
