Sports News (11/7/19) Runner Sophia Kennedy and Girls Soccer Team Advance to Semi-State
Sports News - PT Girls Soccer Wins State Title; Sophia Kennedy Places 5th in State XC Meet
Soccer: The girls soccer team turned up the heat on a cold Friday evening, defeating Lafayette Central Catholic 2-1 to win the IHSAA Class 1-A State Championship! Thanks to all of the fans who came out to support our championship team.
Cross Country: Freshman Sophia Kennedy placed an impressive fifth overall at the IHSAA State Cross Country Meet this past Saturday, earning All-State honors. Her time of 18:09.7 was a PR by 20 seconds, and is the second fastest time ever by a freshman at State. Her fifth place finish is tied for second highest finish by a freshman at the State Meet ever, and highest place overall by a Park Tudor runner. She also now holds the 31st fastest time in State Meet history, and a new school record. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Sophia, and the team, during the entire state tournament.
Football: The Park Tudor football team was victorious Friday evening as they defeated the Indiana School for the Deaf, 13-12 in the IHSAA Sectional Semi-Final. They have now advanced to the IHSAA Sectional Championship which will be held this Friday, 11/8, at Lutheran High School vs. the Saints at 7:00 p.m. Please come out and support the team as they compete for a sectional title.
Volleyball: Congratulations to Maddie Heidenreich, who has been named the 2A Assistant Coach of the Year by the Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association.
 
 
 
Hockey: The Central Indiana Knights hockey team features players from PT, and they will host their opening night celebration on Saturday, November 16 at 6:15 p.m. at the Fuel Tank in Fishers. The theme is “Hat-trick for the homeless;” fans are invited to bring warm hats and gloves to donate for the homeless, and to wear their craziest hats. Hockey players will be tossing hats into the crowd, and donuts and cider will be provided to attendees. There will also be a BYOB and snack to share tailgate in the parking lot before the game.
