Cross Country: Over the weekend the cross country teams competed at the Marion County Championship. Led by Gretchen Farley, who placed first individually, the girls team finished fifth overall. Their performance is the highest finish in school history, and they beat several top-25 ranked teams in the process. The boys were led by Spencer Hughes, who finished 12th overall and earned All-County honors. The Panthers compete again this weekend at the Sectional meet hosted by Brebeuf; races begin at 10:30 a.m.

Boys Tennis: The doubles team of Michael Fryburg and Simon Rothbaum defeated Covenant Christian 6-0, 6-0 on Tuesday in the first round of the Regional. Unfortunately, their tournament run came to an end last evening, with a 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (6) loss to a very talented Brownsburg team. Congratulations on a great season!

Football: The football team is currently 5-2 for the season and will host the Warriors from Covenant Christian tomorrow evening at Park Tudor. Tomorrow evening is also Homecoming; kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. The Panthers will wrap up their regular season next Friday (10/15) at Edinburgh High School vs. the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. The IHSAA tournament draw will be held this Sunday at 5:00 p.m. and can be viewed on IHSAAtv.org.

Volleyball: The volleyball team is currently 24-3 and ranked #4 in class 2A. The Panthers suffered their third loss of the season to Western Boone High School on Monday in five sets, but bounced back on Tuesday and defeated the Bulldogs from Lapel 3-1. The team will be hosting the Huskies from Hamilton Heights next Monday (10/11) at The Academy Volleyball Club for their final match of the regular season. The JV is scheduled to start at 6:00 and the varsity at 7:00 p.m. The team will begin Sectional play on Saturday, October 16 at Western Boone High School. The team will take on the University Trailblazers in first round action at 1:00 p.m. and if victorious, the Panthers will play for the Sectional championship at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Girls Soccer: The girls soccer team defeated Lebanon High School 6-0 last night at Chatard in the first round of Sectionals. The Panthers will take on the Trojans at Chatard this evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Sectional championship.

Boys Soccer: The boys soccer team began Sectional play at home last night vs. University High School; play was suspended due to weather and the game will be completed this evening at 5:30 p.m. at PT. If victorious, the Panthers will take on Heritage Christian at PT on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Sectional championship.
