PT Students Make Great Showing at ISSMA Solo & Ensemble Contest for Strings, Winds and Percussion
Park Tudor had a total of 39 Soloists and 23 Ensembles involving 132 members competing over the weekend at the ISSMA Solo & Ensemble Contest for Strings, Winds & Percussion. Twelve of our soloists and two ensembles with 18 members will continue on to compete at the state-level contest on February 23. Congratulations to all of our student musicians, who represented Park Tudor with excellence.
Many thanks to the private teachers and to Mr. Steven Whipkey, our PT piano accompanist, for their support with soloists. Additional thanks to our dedicated music coaches, Mr. Don Fisher, Mrs. Grace Meier, Mrs. Kathy Schilling, and Mrs. Julie Scull for their time and expertise helping to prepare our ensembles. Our students are successful because of our entire team!
