Right after our return from spring break, the Office of Equity and Inclusion launched a new student series called CONVERSATIONS. The idea behind CONVERSATIONS is that throughout the school year, our student affinity groups will host after-school conversations with guest speakers and presentations that are designed to promote sharing and learning about the rich diversity that exists in our community. The hope is that by sharing stories and creating a space for conversation, we will build a greater school community and world.
On Wednesday, April 10, the Jewish Community Relations Council, Student to Student team presented to an Upper School group of over 40 students, faculty, staff, and administrators about Jewish culture and traditions. The interactive presentation included great information, demonstrations, and culinary tastings. The next conversation will be scheduled in the 2024-25 school year.
