We are pleased to welcome four new members of the Park Tudor Board of Directors, who began their terms on July 1:

• Jennifer Detmer is a Managing Director at Bindley Capital Partners, LLC (BCP), a private investment firm. Jennifer is the parent of a Lower School student.
• Nikhil Gunale '96 works in leasing at PK Partners LLC, a real estate development and investment firm. He is a PT alum and the father of a Middle School student.
• Amir Rashidfarokhi is the owner of Metro Nissan of Indianapolis. He is the father of two Lower School students.
• Adrienne Sims is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at IU Health, the largest healthcare system in Indiana. She is the mother of a PT alum from the class of 2026.

Park Tudor School is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board's members include parents, alumni, and friends of the school who are active in the community and committed to its mission. The Board of Directors provides strategic, higher-level oversight of Park Tudor — it does not manage the school's daily operations. That responsibility belongs to the Head of School, whom the Board hires, evaluates, and supports, and who is charged with carrying out the policies and strategic direction the Board sets. This distinction is a deliberate one: it allows the Board to focus on the long-term health, direction, and integrity of the school, while giving the Head of School and the administrative team the authority and flexibility to lead Park Tudor's programs and people day to day.

In practice, this means the Board sets policy, asks whether the school is fulfilling its mission, and holds the institution — and its own members — accountable to the highest standards of stewardship, ethics, and good governance.
