Middle School Spanish Students Visit Local Peruvian Restaurant
Before spring break, 6th-grade Spanish classes took a field trip to a local Peruvian restaurant, Piscomar. This experience served as a capstone for the students, allowing them to apply their language skills in a real-world setting. Señora Diaz and Señora Razzino were proud to see them confidently using Spanish to communicate with the restaurant staff and each other throughout the meal. Many students tried Peruvian cuisine for the first time, with "chaufa vegetariana" emerging as the crowd favorite. View more photos.
