Park Tudor alum Micah Johnson ’09 visited the Lower School on March 5 to share his new book, “Aku: Journey to Ibra,” with the students. He spoke with them about his journey from Major League Baseball to becoming an artist and storyteller.

Micah is the creator of Aku, a character that began as an animated figure and grew into a widely recognized cultural phenomenon. Aku has appeared on the cover of TIME Magazine and inspired young readers and creators around the world.
