Kelin Mark will be Park Tudor's new Director of the Middle School, effective July 1, 2023.

Kelin joins Park Tudor from Chapel Hill 7th & 8th Grade Center here in Indianapolis, where he was Principal for the past four years and Assistant Principal from 2011 – 2019. At Chapel Hill, Kelin oversaw approximately 100 staff members and served more than 1250 middle school students. He created the school’s student support center to meet students’ academic and social needs, organized the Teacher Retention and Recruiting Plan, created the communication system for teacher communication to parents, and conducted Parent Education Workshops to assist parents with the middle school transition. In addition, Kelin was a member of the Wayne Township District Equity Team, which focuses on providing an equitable education to all students and a culturally relevant curriculum. In 2019 he was a recipient of the Jefferson Award for Multiplying Good, in part for bringing the Young Men with a Purpose Program to Wayne Township.

Kelin also has extensive teaching experience. He has been a Business Instructor for Pike High School and Guion Creek Middle School and taught Social Studies at Arlington High School, and he was a Middle School Special Education Teacher at George Washington Community School. He is very student-centered, and is eager to partner with faculty, staff and parents in support of students as they move through their foundational middle school years.

Kelin earned a B.A. in Business from Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee, and M.A. degrees in both Teaching and Administration from Oakland City University in Indiana. And, he is already familiar with Park Tudor as the proud parent of a rising PT 11th grader.
