In celebration of Diwali, the Upper School Indian and Pakistani Student Union (IPSU) hosted an Upper School Assembly on October 22, where students learned of the significance of Diwali—the Festival of Lights. Special guests included dancers from Bollywood Beats, under the direction of Jenny Bhupatkar, owner/instructor. Students enjoyed a traditional dance performance and also had the opportunity to learn and participate in several dances. Following the assembly, students were able to try a traditional culinary treat, Laddoo, and treats were also made available to the MS, LS and HC faculties. IPSU students Khushi Shah ’26 and Sasha Bath ’28 then presented to the Lower School on Friday, October 24.
