As I witnessed our new ninth graders process through the Cagle Gate marking the start of their high school careers, and watched excited Lower and Middle School students jump eagerly out of their cars on their first day, I was once again reminded of the excitement and promise of a new school year at Park Tudor.

We continue to ground our work in our mission — empowering students to thrive in heart and mind through exceptional academics and extraordinary experiences in a community where every student belongs. This year, as part of our strategic plan, Learning with Purpose, we are turning our collective focus toward four values that underpin the Park Tudor experience: curiosity, creativity, courage, and compassion.

These are the principles that inspire our students as they discover their purpose and find their voice, and they guide our educators as they support that exploration and growth. When students are encouraged to be curious, to take creative risks, to show courage in the face of the unknown, and to lead with compassion, they do more than achieve — they help build a culture of belonging where every person is seen, heard, and valued. In addition, we know that learning to live by these values will help our students develop the skills they will need to adapt to a rapidly changing and complex world.

I am incredibly enthusiastic about the year ahead, especially as we look to 2027 and Park Tudor’s 125th anniversary—and envisioning the next 125 years of Park Tudor. I look forward to a wonderful school year and to seeing you on campus!
