Environmental Science Students Learn About Forestry and Farming
Last week, Upper School environmental science students enjoyed their annual on-campus forestry experience with Purdue and the Department of Natural Resource’s Woods on Wheels exhibit.
The following day they left campus to visit Teter Organic Farms to see zero-waste sustainable agricultural practices, like composting and crop rotation, in action. Students also learned how the farm combats food insecurity by partnering with local food banks.
