Crown Award Winners and Coach of the Year Announced

Congratulations to Jeremy Tian and Lucy Crossin, this year’s fall 2020 Crown Award Recipients. Jeremy and Lucy received their awards during their soccer banquets. The Park Tudor Booster Club presents the Crown Awards each season to an exceptional male and female athlete.

Also at the soccer banquet, the Booster Club presented the 2019-2020 Coach of the Year Award to Girls Soccer Coach, John Simmonds. Coach Simmonds led the team to an overall record of 23-2 for the 2019 season in his first season as head coach. The Panthers went on to win the sectional, regional, semi-state, and state championship. Prior to 2019, the girls soccer team had appeared in a semi-state match, but had never won a semi-state or state championship. The 2019 team also set the school record for wins in a single season.
