As our students immerse themselves in varied activities this summer, our fondest wish is that they will tuck a book under their arms as they go. Reading allows us to gather knowledge, gain empathy, think critically about our world, and derive pleasure from the printed word.
The summer reading assignments for students entering grades 4-12 are posted below and on the Parents page of the Park Tudor website.
In the Upper School, this year we are once again assigning a community read over the summer - The Ghost Map by Steven Johnson. All students entering grades 9-12 are required to read this book prior to the start of the school year. Students enrolled in Plus and AP English courses have additional summer reading assignments.
