Eight Middle School students competed at the 2018 MathCounts Chapter Competition at the Sycamore School. Our team competitors were Sophia Davison, Edward Hu, Violet Isaac and Vanessa Xiao. Our individual competitors were Sragvee Atluri, Alexander Boeckmann, Aidan Klineman and Nandini Mathavan. In all, there were 135 students from 17 schools competing at this competition.

The highest scoring student from each school is recognized at the chapter competition. Vanessa Xiao received this honor for Park Tudor. Additionally, our team competitors (Sophia, Edward, Violet and Vanessa) earned 6th place and have qualified to compete at the 2018 MathCounts State Competition at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday, March 10, 2018.
