This spring, PT Middle School students sold cookies, pledged birthday money, and held a Water Walk to raise money for charity:water, which builds wells to provide clean water in underdeveloped countries.

This year, the students' efforts raised $11,000, enough to fund a well that will provide clean water for 380 people. Access to clean water is life-changing; without the well, those 380 people have to walk long distances to collect water that is often dirty and causes illness.
