It's time to create art and writing for the annual school-wide 5x5 Art Salon. This year's deadline for entries is April 11. This is a school-wide exhibition (students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni), so please consider making something yourself!
The only rule is that 2-D pieces must measure 5x5 inches and 3-D pieces must not occupy a space larger than 5x5x5 inches. All pieces will be displayed in the Upper School hallways.
This year's optional theme is "Cut It Out," which lends itself to a variety of not only conceptual, but also strategic and technical possibilities (puzzles, collage, papel picado, quilting, quilling, erasure poetry, odes to phrasal verbs, idiom translations, triangle dissections, plant grafting, etc.).
