Alumni Giving
Park Tudor School could not exist without financial support from those within the Park Tudor family - parents, alumni, faculty, staff, grandparents, board of directors, and friends - who enrich the lives of our young people through their contributions. Tuition and fees do not cover the total cost of educating our students. Like most independent schools, Part Tudor asks for support from tax-deductible gifts to cover the difference between tuition revenue and operating costs. There are many ways to give to Park Tudor, but no matter how you choose to give, your gift supports students on a journey of lifelong success.
Gifts to the Park Tudor Annual Fund may be directed to specific alumni-related areas.
Reunion Class Gifts
Gifts to Park Tudor are important every year – but they are especially important in reunion years. As has been the case since Tudor Hall and Park School were founded, a Park Tudor education is supported by charitable gifts from alumni. Your gift honors and continues that tradition.
Many alumni make gifts in honor of the impact Park Tudor has had on their lives. Gifts of any amount are always appreciated. Reunion class gifts often reflect an individual’s graduation year (for example, $19.70, $70.00, $197.00 or $1,970.00) or your reunion year (25 years = $25.00, $125.00, or $1,250.00). Others commemorate a favorite teacher or memory. Reunion class gifts are sought from those celebrating a special five-year anniversary.
Scholarship Funds
The Park Tudor Alumni Association operates two scholarship funds, all of which will grow with additional support from alumni:
- The Fredonia Allen Memorial Scholarship – Named in memory of the founder of Tudor Hall, this program provides a grant to a deserving senior girl for her first year at a college or university. Funds for this scholarship come from donations.
- The I. Hilda Stewart Scholarship – Established in memory of the longtime Tudor Hall headmistress, this scholarship provides scholarship funds to a boy and/or a girl for their senior year at Park Tudor. Fundraisers and Alumni Association life memberships generate these scholarship funds.
Commemorative Bricks
The Park Tudor Alumni Association offers engraved bricks, installed on the sidewalk outside Clowes Commons, for $100 each. It's the perfect gift to commemorate a special person while supporting the programs of the Alumni Association.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are often needed at special events and service projects at the school. Please contact Abby Ford if you would like to share your time and talents with the school. Mentoring and job shadow opportunities are also welcomed. Visit PTJobShadow for more information
