College Guidance
Park Tudor's College Guidance Department helps students and parents understand the complexities of the college admissions process. Our counselors work one-on-one with each student to assess their academic and personal needs, leading to an appropriate selection of institutions to which to apply.
The college guidance process starts in 9th grade by advising students' academic progression and extracurricular participation in accordance with their interests and aspirations. All Upper School students participate in group college-planning sessions, and juniors and seniors have individual conferences with one of our college counselors to guide them through the application and admissions process.
The College Guidance Office often arranges special events to help students in the selection process. These events include college fairs, campus tours, alumni panels, information sessions and College Night, an annual event that attracts representatives from more than 50 colleges and universities. Although more than 100 colleges and universities send admissions representatives to Park Tudor each year, we also encourage students to arrange campus visits and experience college life for themselves.
