Ways to Give
The Annual Fund is Park Tudor's most critical ongoing fundraising effort. Unrestricted gifts help the school meet annual expenses such as faculty salaries, new programs, upgrades in technology and financial aid. Annual Fund gifts are used during the school year in which they are received and may be made in honor or memory of a classmate, student, teacher or family member. A gift may be pledged to be paid over a period of time before the June 30 deadline each year.
Many companies have matching gift programs that support various nonprofit organizations, including Park Tudor. The company for which you or your spouse works may match any cash or stock gift you make – sometimes on a dollar-for-dollar basis or more.
Planned or deferred gifts are another way to make a gift to Park Tudor while meeting the long-term needs of your estate planning. Such contributions may include gifts of cash, securities, tangible property, real estate or life insurance. Gifts may be made through bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts or charitable lead trusts. Donors who have included Park Tudor in their estate plans are recognized through membership in the Endowment Society.
GIFTS OF SECURITIES
Alternative non-cash contributions such as appreciated assets, stocks or real estate are one way to support Park Tudor.
The endowment can be compared to a savings account. The financial assets generate income through wise investment of the principal. Priority is placed on long-term growth of the endowment to satisfy future needs of the school. Income earned from the endowment is used to support the school's operating expenses and to provide financial assistance opportunities for students.
Capital campaigns are periodic initiatives that support projects not generally funded by the yearly operating budget. The object of most capital fundraising is building the endowment or the construction or renovation of campus buildings.
Volunteering can take many forms. Whatever your passion and available time, Park Tudor appreciates your help.
