Football

The boys football team opened up this past Friday night on the road as they took on conference rival Triton Central. In a hard fought game the Panthers battled until the end, but they suffered a tough 34-6 loss. They are looking forward to their home opener tomorrow night at 7:00 vs. the Hornets from Beech Grove. Tomorrow night is also Spirit Night, so come out and support your Panthers!

Girls Golf

The girls golf season is well underway and the team has posted impressive wins against Warren Central, Lawrence Central, and North Central. They travel to Winding River Golf Course on Saturday to play in the Perry Meridian Invitational, which begins at 1:00 p.m.

Cross Country

The PT cross country team battled the elements as they put forth a strong effort in their season debut this past Saturday at the North Central Invitational. They will now travel to Danville on Saturday as they compete in the Danville Invitational, which will be run at Danville South Elementary at 9:00 a.m.

Boys Soccer

The boys soccer team lost a tough match in their home opener versus the Warriors from Warren Central 1-0. They open up conference play today at home vs. Speedway High School, then travel to Lutheran on Saturday to take on the Saints.

Girls Soccer

The girls soccer team has had to battle injuries throughout the first few weeks of the season and are off to an 0-2 start. They possess great potential and are led by a great group of seniors. They will be back in action tonight as they head to Triton Central to take on the Tigers for their first conference match of the season.

Volleyball

The girls volleyball team opened up their season last week at University High School. The Lady Panthers battled until the end, but lost a tough one 25-27, 20-25, and 22-25. The team travels to Triton Central tonight to take on the Tigers and then will be back in action again at Speedway High School on Saturday in a round robin which will also include Union County High School.

Boys Tennis

The boys tennis team has had a strong start to the season. They defeated Guerin 4-1 in their season opener and followed that up with another win against Center Grove 5-0. They will host Chatard this evening at home before traveling to North Central on Saturday to compete in the John Shirley Invitational, which is set to start at 8:00 a.m.

Crew

The PT crew team had their season kick-off this past Saturday in Dayton, Ohio for the returning rowers. They will be in action again next month at the Head of the Cuyahoga, which will take place in Cleveland, Ohio.
