Hockey

The Central Indiana Knights hockey club, which is Park Tudor's high school hockey team, played in Dayton, Ohio, this past weekend, splitting two games with the Dayton Stealth.

The Knights are back in action locally for three games this coming weekend:

  • Saturday, Jan. 14, at 9:30 a.m. against Summit City at the Fuel Tank at Fishers
  • Saturday, Jan. 14, at 9:45 p.m. against Crown Point at the Fuel Tank at Fishers
  • Sunday. Jan. 15, at 11:15 a.m. against Bishop Dwenger at the Fuel Tank at Fishers

Girls Basketball

The girls JV basketball team competed in the Lutheran Tournament this past weekend. They lost their first game to Lutheran, 35-26, but came back in the second game to defeat Manual, 33-15. The Panthers were led in game one by Alissa Honigford (10 pts., 7 rbs.) and Dia Moore-Freeman (6 pts., 11 rbs.). In the second game both Alissa Honigford (12 pts., 5 rbs.) and Trinitie Terrell (9 pts.) led the way for the Panthers.

The varsity earned a big win Tuesday evening as they defeated the Patriots from Bethesda Christian, 30-29 in a game that came down to the wire. Kamryn Sarratt led the Panthers with another double-double (17 pts., 17 rbs.). The Panthers will be in action again this evening as they travel to Scecina Memorial High School to take on the Crusaders in a conference match up. IHSAA sectional play will begin January 31, with the official draw being held this Sunday. Please mark your calendars to come out and help recognize the senior basketball players at Senior Night on Thursday, January 26.

Coed Swimming

The girls and boys swim team competed in the ICC conference meet at Beech Grove High School this past Saturday. With 120 points, the girls earned a third place finish, while the boys placed fourth with 79 points. Highlights from the event are listed below. The team will be in action next Thursday, January 19, as they travel to Tri-West High School for a 5:30 meet. Senior night will be held at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game on Tuesday, January 17, so come out and support your PT seniors!

Boys Basketball

The boys basketball team defeated Evansville North, 83-61 in the Southern Indiana Basketball Classic at Jeffersonville High School this past Saturday. Congratulations to Brent Brimmage for being named the game MVP with 26 points. The team also advanced in the Marion County Tournament after winning their opening round game versus Decatur Central High School, 69-47. The Panthers were led by Kobe Webster with 24 points, Isaiah Rice added 15, followed up by Brent Brimmage with 13 points. The semi-finals and finals of the Marion County Tournament are set to be played this coming Friday (1/13) and Saturday (1/14) evenings at Southport High School. Please also come out and help recognize the senior basketball players and cheerleaders at Senior Night on Wednesday, January 25.
