Since 2002, the Legacy Initiative has partnered with the Library of Congress and Senator Richard Lugar's office to document wartime experiences for the Veterans History Project. These oral histories are then archived in the American Folklife Center of the Library of Congress. Furthermore, all interviewees receive a certificate signed by Senator Lugar thanking them for their contribution to the country and to the Veterans History Project. |
