Character Education

Shoe-tying ClinicAn important component of the Park Tudor School experience is an extensive character education program.

The Hilbert Center program helps our youngest students learn to be responsible, respectful and resourceful members of the community. A multi-age grouping in each Hilbert Center classroom provides older students with opportunities to become role models for younger students, developing leadership qualities and a sense of community.

Junior Kindergarten

  • Students assist with some snack and lunch preparations.
  • Family-style lunch provides lessons in manners and courtesy.

Senior Kindergarten

  • Students have opportunities to practice and develop public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Family-style lunch with Lower School students enhances social development.
  • Age-appropriate community-service activities teach children about the importance of community and caring for others.
