Ways to Give to Park Tudor
There are many ways to support Park Tudor School financially:
Cash
Cash gifts are deductible for income tax purposes up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income, if you itemize on your tax return.
Pledge
A gift may be pledged and paid over a period of time to be determined by the donor. For the Annual Fund, pledges must be fulfilled by June 30 of each year.
Credit Cards
Park Tudor accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards for gift fulfillment.
Matching Gifts
Many corporations have matching gift programs that support various nonprofit organizations, including Park Tudor. The company for which you or your spouse works may match any cash or stock gift you make – sometimes on a $2-for-$1 basis, or more. Check with your company's business office for specifics.
Appreciated Securities
For those who own securities or other capital assets that have appreciated in value, transferring this asset to Park Tudor can result in significant tax savings for the donor. You may obtain a tax deduction for the full value of the asset, up to 30 percent of your adjusted gross income, and avoid paying capital gains tax if the asset were to have been sold.
Memorial and Honorary Gifts
Memorial and honorary gifts may be made in memory of a friend, teacher or family member, or in recognition of a special person or family member, graduation, anniversary, reunion or other significant event.
Planned or Deferred Gifts
Planned or deferred gifts are another way to make a gift to Park Tudor while meeting the long-term needs of your estate planning. Such contributions may include gifts of cash, securities, tangible property, real estate or life insurance. Gifts may be made through bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts or charitable lead trusts.
Park Tudor has a complete Planned Giving program, and we are happy to show you how we can make your gift to the school work for you. Donors who have included Park Tudor in their estate plans are recognized through membership in the Endowment Society.
Endowment Society members
