Ms. Albea graduated from Butler University with a B.A. degree in home economics. She previously was an assistant in the all-day kindergarten at St. Luke Catholic School.

Ms. Allen oversees maintenance and transportation requests, as well as marketing and coordinating our facility rentals. Kim holds a B.A. degree from Purdue University and master’s degree in computers in education from the University of Oregon. She taught math and technology for the Houston Independent School District from 1982-1987. She began working at Park Tudor in 1988 as the Middle School technology coordinator. In 1998 she moved to the Upper School, where she served as technology coordinator and department chair from 1998-2006. She also has been on campus over the past few years as a substitute teacher.

Mr. Amstutz holds a B.A. in chemistry and history from Miami University (Ohio), a master’s degree in education from Indiana University, and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the Yale School of Management. He previously was associate director of admissions at The Culver Academies. Before serving at Culver from 1999-2001, he was manager of customer support development and assistant to the chairman and CEO at Cummins Engine Company. He also was an associate instructor in science at Culver from 1985 to 1991. In addition, he has served as a senior examiner for the Baldrige National Quality Program for the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Ms. Averyt holds a bachelor of music in education degree (cum laude) from Columbus State University and has done graduate course work at Ashland University. She has been a music teacher in George and Virginia and a second grade teacher at Columbus Academy in Gahanna, Ohio. She also taught at Haylett Grange School in Wales.

Mrs. Ayres holds a B.A. degree from Purdue University. Before joining Park Tudor in 1994, she was a long-time faculty member at Orchard School. Mrs. Ayres has a strong commitment to professional growth, having attended and presented at many conferences and seminars. She previously served on the Professional Services Committee of the Independent Schools Association of the Central States and currently chairs the school's Professional Development Committee.

Mr. Ayres has served as Academic Dean since 2003 and was Middle School director from 1997-2003. He taught fifth grade at Park Tudor for nine years before moving to the Middle School, serving as Middle School athletic director for three years during that time. Prior to that, he was a teacher for 16 years and Middle School Head from 1980-1987 at Orchard School. He holds a bachelor's degree in English and economics as well as a master's in English and school administration from Butler University. He has served on a number of school accreditation teams in the Midwest for the Independent School Association of the Central States.

Mr. Balensiefer holds a B.S. degree in elementary education and science from Indiana University. He did his student teaching in the Zionsville Public School system and worked this summer as a camp counselor at the Arthur Jordan YMCA.

Dr. Banya holds a Ph.D. in science education (chemistry) from the University of Southern Mississippi, a master’s in science education physical science from Eastern Illinois University, a B.A. in Jewish studies from the University of Judaism, and a science education diploma from the Kenya Science Teachers’ College. He taught chemistry and physics at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT; chemistry at De La Salle Institute in Chicago; and chemistry and physics at St. Martin de Porres Academy in Chicago. He also taught science at North Chicago Community High School and the Nguvia Boys’ High School in Embu, Kenya. Dr. Banya has served as a soccer coach at many of the schools where he has taught. He is a member of a number of national and international science organizations and author of  “Study of Factors Affecting Attitudes of Young Female Students Toward Chemistry at the High School Level” and his autobiography "Out of the Village: Overcoming Barriers."

Ms. Barlow holds a B.A. degree from Anderson University and a M.A. degree in education from Ball State University. She was a pre-first and second-grade teacher at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School in Atlanta, GA for 18 years and a resource instructional assistant at Maxwell Middle School in Maxwell, IN.

Ms. Barnett holds a B.A. degree in political science from Miami University and received her teaching license through Indiana Wesleyan University in 2006. She first joined Park Tudor as a Lower School teaching assistant.

Mrs. Beattie graduated with a B.S. degree from the University of Evansville. She also holds a M.A. from Indiana University. Additional hours of study have been at Butler University, University of Indianapolis, Herron School of Art and numerous professional development opportunities. She served as Art Department chair at Park Tudor from 1990-2000. Previous teaching assignments include positions at public middle and high schools in the Indianapolis area. Barbara has won several art competition awards and has extensive experience with gifted and talented education and served as a consultant and teacher for Advanced Placement Studio Art for the College Board. She also was an evaluation team member for the North Central Association and the Independent Schools Association of the Central States. Most recently, Barbara and three other upper school faculty members spent a week at a Service Learning Institute in Vermont. The knowledge gained at the institute will be shared with the PT community in hopes to make our campus more sustainable and a leader in local service learning education.

Ms. Behringer is a graduate of Marquette University with a B.A. degree in interdisciplinary and social sciences. She serves as the Indiana Association of Independent Schools (IAIS) representative for Hilbert Center and the Lower School. She previously taught kindergarten at 21st Century Preparatory School in Racine, WI and was a substitute teacher in Milwaukee and Mequon, WI. At Marquette, she was team captain of the Women’s Soccer Team and an All-Conference Honoree. She is also a former member of the Indiana Blaze Women’s Soccer League and a soccer coach.

Mr. Bishop oversees Park Tudor's building and grounds operations. He joined Park Tudor's staff in April 2001 after serving as construction supervisor for Geupel DeMars Hagerman. While at Geupel DeMars, he supervised Park Tudor's construction projects.

Mrs. Blair came to Park Tudor from a position as highway engineer assistant at the Indiana Department of Transportation. She attended Cincinnati Bible College and is active at the Clermont Christian Church.

Ms. Blankenbaker holds a B.S. degree in elementary education from Indiana University. She previously spent nine years as a second-grade teacher in the Carmel Clay Schools and also has worked as a preschool teacher at North United Methodist Children’s Program. While at Carmel schools, Ms. Blankenbaker served as technology coordinator for her grade level and was a member of the strategic planning committee, which developed the school corporation’s math curriculum, as well as the performance-based accreditation team.

Mrs. Bragg holds a B.S. degree in applied health science from Indiana University and a professional in human resources certification (PHR). She was previously employed as a human resources specialist at MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. and as a client service administrator at Key Benefit Administrators, Inc. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

A graduate of Carmel High School and Indiana State University, Mrs. Campbell has taught in the Greenfield and Cloverdale schools and also worked as an art director for an ad agency. She received a master's degree in education from Indiana State University and has taken additional coursework at Rockport College (ME) and Herron School of Art. She has served on Park Tudor's Professional Development Committee and is trained in the Schools Attuned Program. She is a member of the board of directors for Scholastic Art Awards of Central Indiana and FACES, both not-for-profit organizations supporting the arts.

Mrs. Carmody holds a B.S. in teaching of mathematics and a master's of education in special education with a concentration in cultural diversity from the University of Illinois. She is currently working toward a Ph.D. in gifted education at Purdue University. She previously was a seventh grade mathematics teacher at Westlane Middle School in Indianapolis and taught seventh grade math and reading at Edison Middle School in Champaign, Illinois. She also has been a summer program teacher and administrator at Morgan Park Academy (her high school alma mater) in Chicago and taught art and children's literature in a summer program at Beverly Art Center in Chicago. Mrs. Carmody is a member of the National Council of Mathematics Teachers and the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) and has published essays and articles for both groups. She is the 2008 recipient of the A. Harry Passow Classroom Teacher Scholarship by the NAGC.

Mrs. Cassidy holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a M.B.A. degree from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She oversees accounting and cash management and participates in the budgeting and long-range planning processes. Mrs. Cassidy previously was a senior financial analyst for Lilly Research Labs at Eli Lilly and Company for six years and a manager of financial planning and reporting at Boehringer Mannheim for nine years.

A graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. degree in mathematics, Mr. Chamberlin also holds a master's degree in education from Indiana University. He previously was a senior mathematics instructor at Culver Academies and a mathematics instructor at Fernley High School in Fernley, NV. He is a recipient of Culver's Spivey Award for excellence in teaching. At Culver, he served as counselor of the school's winning academic bowl team and as head varsity football coach, water ski instructor and ski club sponsor. He is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Indiana Football Coaches Association. He serves as Park Tudor’s varsity football assistant coach.

Ms. Cleveland teaches Upper School English and is the advisor for The Park Tudor Tribune, the Upper School newspaper. She was a member of the English Department faculty at Butler University from 1994-1999, where served as senior lecturer and led writing workshops and seminars. She holds a B.S. degree in education from Indiana University and a master's degree in English literature from Butler. Before joining the Butler University faculty, she taught English at Scecina High School, Brownsburg High School and Lourdes High School in Chicago. At Lourdes, she served as the student newspaper adviser.

Mrs. Crafton holds a B.S. degree in elementary education from Indiana University. She also has served as a second grade teaching assistant, teaching assistant for the Extended Day Program, coordinator of the After School Program, and coordinator of the Math Pentathlon. She has experience as a first- grade student teacher in Whakatane, New Zealand and as a fifth-grade student teacher at Lakeview Elementary School in Bloomington.

Mr. Curry holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in education from Indiana University. Before joining Park Tudor, he taught fifth grade for 23 years for Greater Clark School Systems. He also worked at Resort Condominiums International as a travel agent.

Mrs. Cutsinger holds a B.S. degree from Butler University and has studied at Central College in London, England. She is artistic director of Synchronicity Arts, a company that provides interactive and educational dance performances and cultural/performing arts camp programs in the Indianapolis area. She has been a dancer with Susurrus dance company and has worked as a choreographer and dancer at American Cabaret Theatre, Beef & Boards, Footlite Musicals, Theatre on the Square, Civic Theatre and Buck Creek Theatre. She is a former adjunct faculty member of the University of Indianapolis, a member of the Young Audiences of Indiana, a former artist-in-residence for Indianapolis Public Schools, and has taught at the Jewish Community Center Dance Academy and developed workshops for Young Audiences of Indiana.

Mr. Dammeier holds a B.S. from Indiana University in biology education with endorsements in physical science and general science, and a master's in education from Indiana Wesleyan University in curriculum and instruction. While teaching at Lawrence Central High School from 2002 to 2005, he led the freshman mentor program, taught AP and IB biology and genetics, and was honored as an influential teacher by a senior academic excellence recipient. Mr. Dammeier has also taught biology at Crawfordsville High School and Logansport High School. His extracurricular activities have included coaching high school football, softball and baseball, as well as serving as an IHSAA basketball official. He currently teaches biology and coaches JV baseball. He is a member of the National Association of Biology Teachers, National Science Teachers Association, and Hoosier Association of Science Teachers.

Mr. Dewart, who teaches Advanced Biology and Environmental Science, attended Wabash College and holds a B.S. degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a master's degree from the University of Montana. In the community, he serves on the citizen steering committee that advises the City of Indianapolis in its efforts to update its Comprehensive Land Use Plan. He also chairs the Sierra Club's Parks Committee in Central Indiana.

Mrs. Dominguez holds a bachelor of arts in elementary education with a kindergarten endorsement from Purdue University, a graduate endorsement in English as a second language from the University of Houston and a master's degree in educational leadership and administration from Jones International University in Colorado. In addition, she has extensive advanced academic training in gifted curriculum, math, language and media. Her teaching career began in Houston and continued in Indianapolis Public Schools for one year. She taught fourth grade for six years at Park Tudor before being named Director of the Hilbert Early Education Center and Director of the Lower School.

Mrs. Dreyer holds a bachelor's degree from Purdue University. As an undergraduate, she studied for a year at the University of Madrid. She has continued her study with graduate courses at IUPUI. She previously was a teaching assistant at Crooked Creek School, a Spanish instructor at John Strange School and Immaculate Heart of Mary School, and taught preschool at the Glendale Cooperative Preschool. She has participated in many educational workshops on cooperative learning, whole language and literature, and gifted education.

Mrs. Dull is a high honors graduate of Butler University with B.A. degrees in journalism and media arts. She was the multimedia editor for Butler's online student newspaper, for which she wrote articles and created multimedia site content, such as podcasts and blogs. She also has worked as a publications/communication intern for the National Federation of State High School Associations, a production intern for Tourdesign Creative Services and Radio Now 93.1, and served as graphics editor for The Butler Collegian. She is the recipient of the Director's Award from Butler's Eugene S. Pulliam School of Journalism.

Mr. Eckel coordinates the work of the three school counselors, the Middle and Upper School academic deans, and the three college counselors. He holds a B.A. from Colby College and Ed.M. with a concentration in guidance and counseling from Harvard University. He also has completed graduate work at Yale Divinity School. He served as director of college counseling at the Kinkaid School in Houston for 10 years and previously was head of upper school and director of college counseling at the Ransom Everglades School in Miami. Mr. Eckel also has worked as a director of guidance and counseling and as a guidance counselor at high schools in Pennsylvania. He is an active member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and has presented at a number of regional and national college counseling conferences.

A graduate of Park Tudor predecessor Tudor Hall and 2003 recipient of the Park Tudor Distinguished Alumni Award, Mrs. Everett holds a B.A. from Carroll College and M.S.W. from Indiana University. Previous to her current school position, she served Park Tudor as director of communications and alumni relations and as associate director of admissions. She also has been cheerleading sponsor, faculty sponsor of the Sociology Club, co-director of the Middle School productions from 1998-2002, faculty Annual Fund liaison, and has served as Park Tudor’s Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS) Evaluation Chair in 1987 and ISACS Evaluation Vice-Chair in 1992. She previously served on the Park Tudor Alumni Association Board of Directors. Before coming to Park Tudor, Mrs. Everett was associate director of admissions for Carroll College (WI) and director of volunteers for homebound seniors at the Indianapolis Senior Citizen's Center. She has served on a textbook review committee for a national textbook company and is the author of a workbook, "Doing Sociology." She has collaborated with POLIS Center in a pilot program which engaged high school students as social researchers and is active in various committees. She enjoys tennis, golf and singing in the Chancel Choir and Chamber Ensemble at Northminster Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Farlow holds bachelor's and master's degrees in music education from Butler University, where she studied viola with Zanis Dumpis and conducting with Jackson Wiley. A freelance musician and member of Indianapolis Musicians Local No. 3, Mrs. Farlow performs professionally as violist with the Mannheim Quartet and violinist with the Village String Quartet. She has been principal violist of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis since 1986. Mrs. Farlow is an active member of the Indiana Music Educators Association, has served as treasurer of the Indiana chapter of the American String Teachers Association, and is the educational liaison on the board of the Ensemble Music Society. She has been a presenter for several IMEA conventions, and she frequently shares her expertise as guest conductor for orchestra festivals in other school systems.

Mr. Fischer holds a B.S. degree in physical education from IUPUI and a M.A. degree in teaching from the University of Indianapolis. He previously taught physical education and was the head varsity football coach at Lawrence Central High School, and designed and taught a leadership class that includes a strong community service component. From 1990-2000, he was assistant football coach and offensive coordinator at Park Tudor and also coached Middle School basketball and baseball.

Mrs. Fleck holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana University. She has authored several publications, including "Developing Academics Through Movement" and "Elementary Physical Education Curriculum," and has served on several statewide committees setting standards for physical education proficiencies. She was named to the 2011 directory of WHO'S WHO of Worldclass business leaders. She previously taught elementary and middle school in the Wayne Township schools. In 1989, Mrs. Fleck was selected as Elementary PE Teacher of the Year by her professional association, the Indiana Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (IAHPERD). In 1996, Mrs. Fleck served as a consultant for the Nike Corporation in Portland, Oregon, making recommendations for children's activity programs involving "at-risk" neighborhoods across the nation. She continues to serve as an advisor reviewing new programs for national physical education programs.

Ms. Ford holds a B.A. in journalism from Indiana University. From 2002, she has worked as events and donor relations manager at the Indiana University Foundation and as director of the IUPUI Student Foundation, where she coordinated planning and implementation of all IU Foundation-related events in Indianapolis and oversaw all aspects of the IUPUI Student Foundation. She previously was special events coordinator for the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Indiana. She was awarded the Advisor of the Year Award from IUPUI for her work with the IUPUI Student Foundation.

Ms. Forrestal holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Rochester and a M.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Washington. She previously was a math/science teacher at the InterActive Academy in Zionsville. She has also worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Washington and as a development engineer at Praxair Surface Technologies.

A teacher with more than 20 years of experience, Mrs. Fox graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor of science degree, specializing in junior high/middle school education, mathematics and multicultural education. She holds a M.S. degree from Indiana University. She previously taught mathematics at Lincoln Middle School in Indianapolis, where she served on the Middle School Improvement Committee and the Multi-Cultural Education Committee. She also taught math at John Young Junior High School in Mishawaka, at Guion Creek Middle School in Indianapolis and at Custer Baker Middle School in Franklin.

Mr. Fumusa holds a bachelor's degree in music and a master of arts in religious studies from Indiana University. He also holds a master of divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA, where he was inducted into Phi Alpha Chi Scholastic Honor Society. At Park Tudor he teaches Upper School ethics as well as serving as dean of students and directing the school’s summer school program. Mr. Fumusa taught English and religious studies at Hamden Hall Country Day School in Hamden, CT from 1990-1999. He was selected for inclusion in "Who's Who of American High School Teachers" in 1994. While at Hamden Hall he also served as Summer School director, assistant varsity football coach and boys' varsity tennis coach. He also was an adjunct professor at Teikyo University.

A native of South Bend, Indiana, Mrs. Gaughan joined the Park Tudor faculty in 1999. Her responsibilities include assisting students with multimedia presentations and video projects, helping faculty integrate audio-visual equipment in classrooms, and coordinating the AV needs for campus special events. Before coming to Park Tudor, Mrs. Gaughan worked in educational technology for Jostens Learning and was a recipient of the "Circle of Excellence" customer service award.

Ms. Gellin holds B.A. degrees in English and philosophy, summa cum laude, from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. From 2004-2006 she was the Middle and Upper School English teacher and ninth-grade team leader at Gaston Day School, Gastonia, NC, one of four schools in North Carolina to be recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English for "excellence in its English instruction program." She also served as advisor for the student literary magazine and community service club and coached the swim team. She previously was an instructor for the "Heroes and Villians" writing course and a "Middle Ages Humanities" course for fifth and sixth graders at the Center of Talented Youth, an enrichment summer program at Johns Hopkins University.

A native Hoosier, Ms. Glassmeyer holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and a master's from the University of Delaware in English/American literature. She previously taught English for 10 years at the Salesianum School in Wilmington, where she served as moderator of the school newspaper. In addition, she has experience as a college-level English professor at the University of Delaware.

Mr. Grayson has directed more than 65 productions of plays and musicals, more than half of them at Park Tudor School and others at North Montgomery H.S., Garrett Jr./Sr. H.S., New Castle H.S., and for Sugar Creek Players and the Vanity Theatre in Indiana. He has appeared in a variety of productions in local theatres and dinner theatres, as well as in radio and television commercials. He received his bachelor's degree with majors in English, speech, and theatre and a minor in Biblical literature from Cedarville College. He received his master's degree in theatre from Indiana University where he studied theatre theory, criticism and history with Oscar G. Brockett and jazz vocal music with Eileen Farrell. He also studied at Indiana State and Purdue Universities. Additionally, while attending American University in Washington D.C., he studied modern dance with the Erik Hawkins Dance Company, directing with Leo Shapiro, and acting with Maria Preszjeski, a student of Jerzy Grotowski. Before joining Park Tudor, he taught at Waynetown Middle School, North Montgomery High School, Garrett Jr./Sr. High School, and New Castle High School.

Mrs. Grinkmeyer has more than 25 years of experience as a guidance counselor and social studies teacher. She received a B.S. degree from Indiana University and a M.S. degree in guidance and counseling from Butler University. She has been a leadership facilitator at the National Association of Student Councils National Leadership Camps in Castine, Maine and Lake Tahoe, and coordinates Park Tudor's freshman and senior retreats as well as Upper School leadership retreats. Before joining Park Tudor as Upper School counselor in 1999, she was a guidance counselor at North Central High School, where she was named Teacher of the Year in 1998. She previously was a guidance counselor and student council sponsor at Western Boone Junior-Senior High School and taught social studies at Plainfield Junior-Senior High School and Crispus Attucks High School.

An Indianapolis native, Mr. Gross has a wide variety of experience in food service for educational institutions.

Dr. Guffin joined Park Tudor's faculty in 1994 after retiring as head of North Central High School's International Baccalaureate program. He received his B.S. and M.A.T. from Indiana University and a Ph.D. from Duke University. He is a widely published scholar with awards in teaching from I.U. and the Indiana Council of Teachers of English. He has taught at the secondary and university level. He has worked with a team of colleagues from other private schools to establish the Spoleto Summer Study Abroad Program for students in the arts.

Officer Hagy holds a B.S. degree in law enforcement from Eastern Kentucky University and has been a police officer at the Pike High School Freshman Center since 2004. He previously was a special deputy for the Indianapolis Colts complex. Officer Hagy is CPR/First Responder Certified, trained in nonviolent crisis intervention by the Crisis Prevention Institute, trained in Homeland Security's Law Enforcement Protective Measures and Response Actions, and also trained in Tactical Thinking: Secure and Transport.

Ms. Hamblet holds a B.S. degree in elementary education, summa cum laude, from Indiana University. She also holds an endorsement in French education from IU. Jennifer has been a substitute teacher in Lawrence Township schools and taught English in Lyon, France. She also was a student teacher in Upwey, Australia.

Dr. Hamer is a graduate of the Culver Military Academy, holds a B.A. degree in literature (with honors) from Wheaton College (IL), a master's in English (thesis in creative writing) from Marywood College in Scranton, PA and a Ph.D. in English from Notre Dame, earned with a full merit scholarship. He taught at Culver for 20 years, chairing the department of English for seven years. An award-winning author, he has published extensively, most notably in Culver and Park Tudor alumni magazines.

Dr. Hamilton is responsible for student assessment and consultation with parents and faculty about how students can maximize their learning potential. He received his doctorate and master's degrees in clinical psychology from Indiana State University. He holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and anthropology from Washington and Lee University. Dr. Hamilton has worked as a staff psychologist for New Perspectives of Indiana Inc., conducting psychological assessments with children, adolescents and adults. His background also includes working with troubled adolescents and their families in the juvenile correctional system, developing assessment and intervention programs that have been used throughout the state of Indiana. His work has been published in psychology journals and newsletters, and he has presented symposia and papers and lectured at national and state psychological conferences and workshops. Dr. Hamilton holds awards in his field from the American Psychological Association and Indiana State University. He is a member of the Indiana Psychological Association.

Mrs. Hammock holds a bachelor of arts degree in education from Ball State University and a master's degree in education from Butler University. Before coming to Park Tudor, she taught for 10 years at Immaculate Heart of Mary School (Indianapolis). She also has developed curriculum and taught at The Children's Museum and Eiteljorg Museum. While at Park Tudor she has been involved in developing curriculum on Native Americans, experiential learning, and positive self-esteem for young women. She also is a member of the school’s Professional Development Committee.

Dr. Hamstra has had teaching experience in kindergarten through college and has been a language arts consultant for the Indiana Department of Public Instruction, as well as developer and supervisor of a writing-across-the-curriculum program in 16 Indianapolis Public Schools. She also has been an English department head of two high schools and a teacher at three schools and two universities. Dr. Hamstra received B.A. and M.S. degrees from Butler University and a Ph.D. from Ball State University. In addition, she has been a consultant to schools employing technology in the classroom, a presenter at numerous conferences, a participant on multiple professional boards, and a writer for numerous publications.

Mrs. Hart holds a B.A. in English education from Purdue University and a M.S. in educational administration from Butler University. She has taught 6th, 7th and 8th grades in Washington Township. She has years of experience teaching honors and gifted and talented courses. She has successfully completed internships in leadership, served on curriculum development committees, and gone through extensive training in the teaching of writing. She has also served as an administrator of a private Christian school on the west side of Indianapolis. She laid the early foundation for the admissions and testing, teacher development, and curriculum development and improvement departments. She joined the Park Tudor faculty in 2004 as a Middle School English teacher and served as the English department chair.

Ms. Hendrickson manages the school's communications efforts, including school publications, the Park Tudor web site, media relations and advertising. She was previously media relations manager at Ameritech, Indianapolis, where her work garnered numerous industry awards. She has additional experience as public relations officer for Merchants National Corporation (now National City) and held various positions in the newsrooms of WTHR-TV, WPDS-TV (now WXIN-TV), and WIFE News Radio. A 1977 graduate of Park Tudor, Ms. Hendrickson holds B.A. degrees in English composition and French (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa). Her graduate work was at the University of Paris (Sorbonne) and the Institut de Touraine (Tours). She is a member of the Board of Directors and vice president of marketing of Dance Kaleidoscope, a board member of the Alpha Association of Indiana Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa and a former board member of the International Center of Indianapolis.

Mr. Holobek graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in elementary education and received his M.S. degree and an endorsement in gifted and talented education from Butler University. Before joining Park Tudor's faculty, he taught overseas for nine years. He spent four years in Frankfurt, Germany at the Internationale Schüle Frankfurt as a math teacher for grades 3-5, four years at the International School of Helsinki in Finland, and another year at the Konigsberg International School in Konigsberg, Norway. He also spent 10 years as a third-grade teacher at North Grove Elementary School in Greenwood.

Mr. Howard was previously the facility manager at the Indianapolis Tennis Center and was a self-employed artist. He was an assistant Boy Scout leader for two years and was a confirmation class leader for two years at North United Methodist Church. He spent 10 years as a volunteer at the RCA Tennis Championships. His hobbies are sketching and painting.

Mrs. Hueni returned to Park Tudor in 2005 after a four-year absence. From July 2001 to June 2005 she was the development director at the IUPUI School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. She served as Annual Fund Coordinator at Park Tudor from 1996-2001 and previously worked in development at the Alzheimer's Association. She holds a B.A. degree in telecommunications from Indiana University.

Mr. Hueni attended Grace College and graduated with a communications major and U.S. history and technical theater minors. He received a master's degree in technical theater and rhetorical criticism from Ball State University. Mr. Hueni worked for six years as the technical theater director at Stanley Clark School in South Bend, IN, where he also taught drama and technical theater. While in South Bend he coached Mishawaka Marian's boys' and girls' tennis teams for six and five years respectively. He also coached the boys' basketball team at Stanley Clark for five years. For more than 20 summers he has worked as the head tennis professional at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club in Leesburg, Ind.

Mr. Hull holds a B.A. in Latin and classical culture, a B.A. (Hons.) in Latin, and a higher education diploma from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) as well as three master's degrees (classical studies, classical archaeology, and library and information science) from Indiana University, where he was awarded the Norman T. Pratt Fellowship. He has been included five times in "Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers," teaches Roman Civilization at Butler University and also teaches Classical Mythology at IUPUI. He has co-authored the book "Latin For Dummies." He also serves on the AP Latin development committee which writes the AP Latin exams.

Mrs. Hutchinson holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in elementary education from Indiana University (Bloomington) with endorsements in learning disabled (LD), emotionally handicapped (EH) and mildly mentally handicapped (MiMH). She also has an extensive background in gifted and talented education, and has completed advanced work at Notre Dame College of Ohio and at I.U.P.U.I. (reading specialist). An Orton-Gillingham tutor, Mrs. Hutchinson has been a recipient of an IPL Golden Apple Award and was the teacher representative recipient of a national award for outstanding curriculum presented by the American School Board Journal. She serves on the school's Curriculum Mapping Committee and previously served on the Professional Development Committee.

Mr. Jennings is an accomplished and nationally active leader in independent school education, with more than 40 years of experience as a school administrator and teacher. From 1987 to 2002, he served as head of Indian Springs School in Indian Springs, Alabama, a highly regarded, academically challenging coed day and boarding school for students in grades 8-12. From 1979-1987, he was the director of the Upper School at Forsyth Country Day School in Winston-Salem, NC, where he also served as director of college counseling. From 1974-1979, Mr. Jennings was assistant headmaster and director of admissions at the middle school campus of Montclair Kimberley Academy, New Jersey. He holds a B.A. degree in English from Lafayette College, a master's degree in psychology and counseling from Montclair State College, and a master's degree in educational administration from Columbia University. Mr. Jennings has been actively involved with students throughout his distinguished career. He taught English and humanities, directed outdoor education programs, served as a student government advisor, and coached cross country, track and skiing. In addition, he has served as a prestigious Klingenstein Visiting Fellow at Columbia University and as a Christian A. Johnson Fellow. He was a board member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and has been an officer and board member of the Southern Association of Independent Schools. He also has served as president of the Indiana Association of Independent Schools and chair of the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS) Presidential Search Committee. He has been a workshop director and consultant for the Independent School Management and Educational Resources Group, faculty director and consultant for the NAIS Institute for New Heads of Schools, and a board member of Independent Educational Services.

Mrs. Johnson holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Indiana University. She taught fifth and sixth grades from 1973 to 1977, then served for three years as librarian for kindergarten to grade 6 students in the Washington Township School system. She has been a member of ALA (American Library Association) and AASL (American Association of School Librarians) for 25 years. She served on the state Young Hoosier Picture Book Award committee from 2007 to 2009. Mrs. Johnson is a faculty sponsor for the Lower School Student Council and editor of the Lower School yearbook. She has coordinated the Lower School's well-established visiting author/illustrator program for more than two decades. She has spent every summer since 1989 working at Gnaw Bone Camp.

Mr. Johnson holds a B.A. in history from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, and an Master's degree in East Asian studies from Indiana University. Mr. Johnson spent six years in Japan, where he held fellowships at Tenri University in Nara and the Urasenke Institute in Kyoto. He taught U.S. history, world history and English at the University of Oklahoma and at Kansai University of Foreign Studies in Osaka, Japan. He also traveled in South Korea as a guest of the Korea Foundation and Yonsei University Korean Studies Workshop. He has studied art and architectural history throughout Europe. Among his awards are a U.S. Title VI Foreign Language and Areas Study Fellowship for 1996-97 and a Fulbright-Hays fellowship to South Africa in the summer of 2001. Mr. Johnson has published several articles, reviews and translations and has presented at numerous conferences. In addition to participating in several university summer seminars, he also spends his summers teaching a graduate seminar for Indiana University's East Asian Studies Center. Mr. Johnson also has chaperoned student trips to China and Japan and is a wrestling and judo coach.

Mrs. Kahre holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education from Ball State University with minors in multiculturalism and interpersonal relations as well as a computer endorsment. She joined Park Tudor in 2004 after teaching for two years at Speedway High School. Beyond her teaching assignments of geometry, algebra 2 and trigonometry, she has been a class sponsor for the freshmen and sophomore classes for the last three years.

Mr. Kaszko holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Kansas, received a master of arts degree in international management from the University of Texas at Dallas, and is currently completing the Transition to Teaching program at Indiana Wesleyan University. He joined Park Tudor in 2004 as a Lower School teaching assistant and baseball coach, but previously had a 25-year career in business. He was the general manager for U.S. Logistics and held various management positions with Burham Service Corporation, PepsiCo, Baxter Heathcare and Procter & Gamble. Prior to joining Park Tudor, he served as a permanent substitute teacher for fourth, fifth and sixth grades in Hamilton Southeastern Schools.

Mrs. Kerr holds a B.A. in romance languages from DePauw University and has studied in Strasbourg, France and at La Casa de Lenguas, Guatemala. She joined Park Tudor in 2002 as a Lower School teaching assistant and has since taught Upper School French and Lower and Middle School Spanish at Park Tudor. She previously served as director of children's ministries at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church.

Ms. Kizer holds a B.S. degree in recreation with an emphasis on sports management from Indiana University. Her career experience includes serving as administrative assistant to the athletic director for Indianapolis Public Schools. She also has been an adult education program consultant with the Indiana Department of Education and adult education intake coordinator for Washington Township Schools. She has been a swim instructor with the YMCA and is a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association Varsity Club.

Mrs. Kokotkiewicz holds a bachelor's degree in education from Butler University and a master's degree in education (instructional systems technology) from Indiana University. She previously was director of information services at Lawrence Central High School, and held a similar position with Washington Township Schools. She served as co-facilitator for the Leading Edge Librarians Leadership Academy. She has been a guest lecturer at IUPUI and Butler and a presenter at the Indiana Library Association and the Association of Indiana Media Educators. She is the author of "Stimulation Higher-Order Thinking with Database Searching," published by the Indiana Media Journal.

Mrs. Laughner attended Butler University and IUPUI and has been teaching ice skating for the past 30 years.

Dr. Lee-Thompson holds a B.A. degree in English literature from Fu Jen University in Taiwan, a M.A. degree in applied linguistics from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in language education from Indiana University. She joined Park Tudor in 2008 to direct the school's Chinese Studies program. She was previously an assistant professor of Chinese at Butler University and director of Butler’s Summer Chinese Language Program. Before joining the Butler faculty in 2000, she taught Chinese and English as a Second Language courses at IUPUI and was an associate instructor in the Department of East Asian Languages & Cultures at Indiana University. She also has been a teacher trainer at the English Language School International in Taipei. She has done extensive research on teaching Chinese to non-native speakers and her work has been published in a number of language journals. In addition, she has designed many Chinese language and culture workshops and courses. Dr. Lee-Thompson, who has led three student-study trips to China and Taiwan while at Butler, has been honored with several university awards for outstanding teaching.

Mr. Lennon holds a bachelor's of science degree in health and physical education from Indiana University. He also is a Certified Athletic Administrator, and earned his master's through CMAA, Certified Masters Athletic Administrators. Before being named athletic director in 1994, he taught physical education, health and speech at Park Tudor for seven years. In addition to teaching, he was the boys' varsity basketball coach from 1987-1997 and the girls' golf coach from 1988-1994. He previously taught at Eastwood Middle School, Cathedral High School and Monroe Central High School. He is a member of the Indiana Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.

Mrs. Lerch holds a bachelor's degree from Scripps College, a master's degree from the University of Illinois and also attended Exeter College, Oxford. She is listed in "Who's Who of American Teachers" and is a published Civil War historian. She developed and directs the Park Tudor Legacy Initiative history project, for which she has won several awards.

Mr. Lickliter holds an A.A. degree from Central Florida Community College and a B.A. degree from Marian College. He has completed work towards his master's degree at Butler University and IUPUI. Mr. Lickliter serves as Park Tudor's Middle School cross country and track coach.

Mrs. Lowe holds her B.S. degree in elementary education from Indiana University and has extensive specialized training in technology, mathematics and English education. Before joining Park Tudor, she was a fourth-grade teacher at John Strange Elementary School in Indianapolis for eight years. She previously held positions as a second-grade instructional assistant at John Strange, as a primary unit leader at Grandview Elementary School, as a student teacher supervisor at the IUPUI School of Education, and as an instructor in Los Angeles and Mipitas, California. She has been a nominee for the Jon Holden DeHaan Teacher of the Week and Washington Township Teacher of the Year awards.

Mr. Malcom attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and was a student at the "Sciences Po," the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris, where he earned the Certificat d'Etudes Politiques. Following his studies at Bowdoin, he spent a year in France, earning a master's degree in French from New York University. When Señor Malcom first came to Park Tudor, he taught French, managed yearbook finances and was an advisor to several classes. From 1979-1981 he was an adjunct faculty member of Butler University as a French teacher. Before coming to Park Tudor, he taught French at Phillips Exeter Academy and The Hotchkiss School. For many years, he has presented a workshop on teaching Spanish to dyslexic students at the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana's annual "Survival Saturday." He has presented several workshops at the Indiana Foreign Language Teachers conference and one on Cuba at the Central States world meeting in 2003. He was secretary of the Indiana Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese for six years, vice president for two years, president for two years and its 2004 Spanish Teacher of the Year. He also was chosen Foreign Language Teacher of the Year 2004 by the Indiana Foreign Language Teachers Association. He is a member of the "Sociedad Honoraria de Profesores de Español."

Cynthia Mallinger has more than 30 years of teaching experience in Indianapolis, Arkansas and Kansas. She holds a B.A. degree in special education from Avila College and a master's degree in education from the University of Kansas, specializing in curriculum and instruction. She also has an AMI Montessori Certificate. Cynthia has facilitated School's Attuned classes for educators in Indiana and Illinois and has presented workshops at conferences throughout the Midwest. She has a special interest in brain research and recently completed the University of Washington's Brain Research in Education certification.

Mrs. March has taught kindergarten for more than 29 years, previously teaching in Warren Township. She previously worked in training and development. She was an adjunct faculty member at IUPUI's "Summer in the City" program. Mrs. March received a B.S. and M.A.E. in elementary education with kindergarten endorsement from Ball State University and elementary administrative certification from Indiana University. She co-authored the book "Math in a Snap" and has been a national staff development workshop presenter.

Mrs. Marshall is a crossover teacher for our Lower and Middle School, teaching vocal music to students in grades three through six. As Assistant Music Program Coordinator she is in charge of the private music lesson program. Mrs. Marshall's Lower School duties include serving as the Fine Arts Curriculum Coordinator and the weekly assembly coordinator. Middle School duties include coordinating the annual MS Cultural Heritage Day Program and serving as musical director for the Middle School Play. She coordinates Park Tudor's entries in the Indiana State School Music Association’s  (ISSMA) piano and vocal competition each year. During her tenure at Park Tudor (which began in January of 1978), Mrs. Marshall has taught music to grades JK through 8, served as accompanist for the Upper School vocal groups and the Upper School musical during her first nine years at Park Tudor, and taught private piano lessons during her first 15 years at the school. She has been a member of the Personnel Practices Committee, served as a liaison with The Children's Museum, served as a Middle School homeroom adviser, and has been a frequent chaperone for Park Tudor's Dearborn (6th grade), Williamsburg (4th grade), and Washington, D.C. (8th grade) curricular trips. Mrs. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Music Education (piano principal) degree with a minor in psychology and a Master of Music History degree from Butler University.

Mr. Math is the science department chair, teaches chemistry, and is the head varsity girls volleyball coach at Park Tudor. He is a graduate of Indiana University, where he participated on two Big Ten Championship Swim Teams. Previously, Mr. Math was a teacher with the Central Indiana Honors Science Academy held at Park Tudor and was the co-director of the Honors Science Academy at IUPUI. Mr. Math also taught chemistry at Clinton Prairie Jr./Sr. High and Warren Central High School. He has been a presenter at the State and Regional Science Teacher Conventions and has worked with the Purdue University Instrumentation Van for high school teachers. He has also coached the middle and high school boys and girls swim teams at Warren Central and at Park Tudor.

Ms. McAlear received a B.A. in history from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; a M.A. in Asian history from New York University; and attended Shanghai University in Shanghai, China; Kyoto University in Kyoto, Japan; and Shreemati Athibai Damodar Thakersui College in Bombay, India. Before joining Park Tudor, Ms. McAlear taught history in several private schools throughout the country, including Immaculate High School in Seattle, WA; Catlin Gabel in Portland, OR; Storm King School in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY; and Colorado Springs School in Colorado Springs, CO. She led Upper School student trips to China in 2007 and 2009 and to Egypt and Jordan in 2008, and has traveled throughout the world doing research to enhance her classroom teaching.

Dr. McDougall teaches biology and environmental science in the Upper School Science Department and is an assistant coach for the girls soccer team. He also serves the Upper School as Associate Academic Dean, working closely with the Senior class. Dr. McDougall earned his undergraduate biology degree at Hope College in Holland, Michigan and pursued master's and doctorate degrees in biology teaching and educational psychology, respectively, at the University of South Carolina.

Mr. McIntosh serves as physical education coordinator for the Hilbert Early Education Center and previously served as Lower School technology coordinator and varsity hockey coach. He holds a B.A. degree from Indiana University.
