At Park Tudor, we hope you will take an active role in the school community. We encourage you to become involved by helping in the classroom, attending events, volunteering to help with projects, sponsoring activities, and joining organizations that work for the benefit of our students and our school.
In addition, we hope - as virtually every independent school does - that you will support the Park Tudor Annual Fund to the extent that you are financially able. We also look forward to your participation in future, periodic capital campaigns that support campus needs.
The responsibility for ensuring the fiscal stability of the school belongs to all members of the Park Tudor community. Together, we support fund-raising projects as part of a collaborative effort that has benefited former and current students and helps guarantee that Park Tudor continues to educate future generations.
Every gift makes a difference. . .especially yours.

Park Tudor's Annual Fund supports the School's operating needs by subsidizing tuition income. Tuition income only covers about 73% of the true cost of an education at our school.
In order to make a Park Tudor education accessible for as many students as possible, the school must rely on endowment income and financial support from parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni and friends. These gifts make up the gap between operating expenses and tuition revenue. They go to work immediately to support programs including academics, the arts, advising, libraries, athletics, technology, faculty and staff benefits and professional development.

Answers to Questions about Making a Gift to Park Tudor
Q: Should volunteers who contribute their time also support the school financially?
A: We are truly grateful for members of the Park Tudor community who volunteer their time - they are integral to the success of our school. But regardless of time, we hope that financial support of the school will be among the top priorities of your charitable giving.
Q: How much should I donate?
A: As individual financial situations vary, so do gifts to Park Tudor. Only you can decide the amount that is appropriate for you. Each and every gift is important and genuinely appreciated. We hope that each member of our school community will participate to the extent possible for him or her.
Q: What is the difference between the Annual Fund, capital giving, and the endowment fund?
A: The Annual Fund supports the annual operations of the school.
Capital campaigns are periodic initiatives that support projects not generally funded from the yearly operating budget. The object of most capital fund raising is the augmentation of the endowment or the construction or renovation of campus buildings.
An endowment can be compared to a savings account or other financial assets that generate income through wise investment of the principal. Priority is placed on long-term growth of the endowment to satisfy future needs of the school. Income earned from the endowment is used to support the schools operating expenses and to provide financial assistance opportunities for students.
