Ms. Averyt holds a bachelor of music in education degree (cum laude) from Columbus State University and has done graduate course work at Ashland University. She has been a music teacher in George and Virginia and a second grade teacher at Columbus Academy in Gahanna, Ohio. She also taught at Haylett Grange School in Wales.

Mrs. Ayres holds a B.A. degree from Purdue University. Before joining Park Tudor in 1994, she was a long-time faculty member at Orchard School. Mrs. Ayres has a strong commitment to professional growth, having attended and presented at many conferences and seminars. She previously served on the Professional Services Committee of the Independent Schools Association of the Central States and currently chairs the school's Professional Development Committee.

Mr. Balensiefer holds a B.S. degree in elementary education and science from Indiana University. He did his student teaching in the Zionsville Public School system and worked this summer as a camp counselor at the Arthur Jordan YMCA.

Ms. Barlow holds a B.A. degree from Anderson University and a M.A. degree in education from Ball State University. She was a pre-first and second-grade teacher at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School in Atlanta, GA for 18 years and a resource instructional assistant at Maxwell Middle School in Maxwell, IN.

Ms. Barnett holds a B.A. degree in political science from Miami University and received her teaching license through Indiana Wesleyan University in 2006. She first joined Park Tudor as a Lower School teaching assistant.

Ms. Blankenbaker holds a B.S. degree in elementary education from Indiana University. She previously spent nine years as a second-grade teacher in the Carmel Clay Schools and also has worked as a preschool teacher at North United Methodist Children’s Program. While at Carmel schools, Ms. Blankenbaker served as technology coordinator for her grade level and was a member of the strategic planning committee, which developed the school corporation’s math curriculum, as well as the performance-based accreditation team.

Mrs. Crafton holds a B.S. degree in elementary education from Indiana University. She also has served as a second grade teaching assistant, teaching assistant for the Extended Day Program, coordinator of the After School Program, and coordinator of the Math Pentathlon. She has experience as a first- grade student teacher in Whakatane, New Zealand and as a fifth-grade student teacher at Lakeview Elementary School in Bloomington.

Mrs. Dominguez holds a bachelor of arts in elementary education with a kindergarten endorsement from Purdue University, a graduate endorsement in English as a second language from the University of Houston and a master's degree in educational leadership and administration from Jones International University in Colorado. In addition, she has extensive advanced academic training in gifted curriculum, math, language and media. Her teaching career began in Houston and continued in Indianapolis Public Schools for one year. She taught fourth grade for six years at Park Tudor before being named Director of the Hilbert Early Education Center and Director of the Lower School.

Mrs. Farlow holds bachelor's and master's degrees in music education from Butler University, where she studied viola with Zanis Dumpis and conducting with Jackson Wiley. A freelance musician and member of Indianapolis Musicians Local No. 3, Mrs. Farlow performs professionally as violist with the Mannheim Quartet and violinist with the Village String Quartet. She has been principal violist of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis since 1986. Mrs. Farlow is an active member of the Indiana Music Educators Association, has served as treasurer of the Indiana chapter of the American String Teachers Association, and is the educational liaison on the board of the Ensemble Music Society. She has been a presenter for several IMEA conventions, and she frequently shares her expertise as guest conductor for orchestra festivals in other school systems.

A teacher with more than 20 years of experience, Mrs. Fox graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor of science degree, specializing in junior high/middle school education, mathematics and multicultural education. She holds a M.S. degree from Indiana University. She previously taught mathematics at Lincoln Middle School in Indianapolis, where she served on the Middle School Improvement Committee and the Multi-Cultural Education Committee. She also taught math at John Young Junior High School in Mishawaka, at Guion Creek Middle School in Indianapolis and at Custer Baker Middle School in Franklin.

Dr. Hamilton is responsible for student assessment and consultation with parents and faculty about how students can maximize their learning potential. He received his doctorate and master's degrees in clinical psychology from Indiana State University. He holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and anthropology from Washington and Lee University. Dr. Hamilton has worked as a staff psychologist for New Perspectives of Indiana Inc., conducting psychological assessments with children, adolescents and adults. His background also includes working with troubled adolescents and their families in the juvenile correctional system, developing assessment and intervention programs that have been used throughout the state of Indiana. His work has been published in psychology journals and newsletters, and he has presented symposia and papers and lectured at national and state psychological conferences and workshops. Dr. Hamilton holds awards in his field from the American Psychological Association and Indiana State University. He is a member of the Indiana Psychological Association.

Mr. Holobek graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in elementary education and received his M.S. degree and an endorsement in gifted and talented education from Butler University. Before joining Park Tudor's faculty, he taught overseas for nine years. He spent four years in Frankfurt, Germany at the Internationale Schüle Frankfurt as a math teacher for grades 3-5, four years at the International School of Helsinki in Finland, and another year at the Konigsberg International School in Konigsberg, Norway. He also spent 10 years as a third-grade teacher at North Grove Elementary School in Greenwood.

Mrs. Hutchinson holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in elementary education from Indiana University (Bloomington) with endorsements in learning disabled (LD), emotionally handicapped (EH) and mildly mentally handicapped (MiMH). She also has an extensive background in gifted and talented education, and has completed advanced work at Notre Dame College of Ohio and at I.U.P.U.I. (reading specialist). An Orton-Gillingham tutor, Mrs. Hutchinson has been a recipient of an IPL Golden Apple Award and was the teacher representative recipient of a national award for outstanding curriculum presented by the American School Board Journal. She serves on the school's Curriculum Mapping Committee and previously served on the Professional Development Committee.

Mrs. Johnson holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Indiana University. She taught fifth and sixth grades from 1973 to 1977, then served for three years as librarian for kindergarten to grade 6 students in the Washington Township School system. She has been a member of ALA (American Library Association) and AASL (American Association of School Librarians) for 25 years. She served on the state Young Hoosier Picture Book Award committee from 2007 to 2009. Mrs. Johnson is a faculty sponsor for the Lower School Student Council and editor of the Lower School yearbook. She has coordinated the Lower School's well-established visiting author/illustrator program for more than two decades. She has spent every summer since 1989 working at Gnaw Bone Camp.

Mrs. Lowe holds her B.S. degree in elementary education from Indiana University and has extensive specialized training in technology, mathematics and English education. Before joining Park Tudor, she was a fourth-grade teacher at John Strange Elementary School in Indianapolis for eight years. She previously held positions as a second-grade instructional assistant at John Strange, as a primary unit leader at Grandview Elementary School, as a student teacher supervisor at the IUPUI School of Education, and as an instructor in Los Angeles and Mipitas, California. She has been a nominee for the Jon Holden DeHaan Teacher of the Week and Washington Township Teacher of the Year awards.

Mrs. Marshall is a crossover teacher for our Lower and Middle School, teaching vocal music to students in grades three through six. As Assistant Music Program Coordinator she is in charge of the private music lesson program. Mrs. Marshall's Lower School duties include serving as the Fine Arts Curriculum Coordinator and the weekly assembly coordinator. Middle School duties include coordinating the annual MS Cultural Heritage Day Program and serving as musical director for the Middle School Play. She coordinates Park Tudor's entries in the Indiana State School Music Association’s  (ISSMA) piano and vocal competition each year. During her tenure at Park Tudor (which began in January of 1978), Mrs. Marshall has taught music to grades JK through 8, served as accompanist for the Upper School vocal groups and the Upper School musical during her first nine years at Park Tudor, and taught private piano lessons during her first 15 years at the school. She has been a member of the Personnel Practices Committee, served as a liaison with The Children's Museum, served as a Middle School homeroom adviser, and has been a frequent chaperone for Park Tudor's Dearborn (6th grade), Williamsburg (4th grade), and Washington, D.C. (8th grade) curricular trips. Mrs. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Music Education (piano principal) degree with a minor in psychology and a Master of Music History degree from Butler University.

Mrs. McIntosh is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, IL with a B.S. degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in school counseling from Indiana University. She previously taught second grade at Park Tudor. She worked as a camp counselor and served as assistant camp director at the Jewish Community Center in Indianapolis, has tutored elementary and high school students, and volunteered with the Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCA.

Mrs. Modglin holds a B.S. degree in elementary education with a reading endorsement from Indiana University School of Education. She previously taught third, fourth and fifth grades at Robert Lee Frost Elementary School #106, a "Modern Red School House" established in conjunction with the Hudson Institute, where she also served on the school's steering committee and as technology chair. Mrs. Modglin was swimming coach at Park Tudor from 1996 to 1997. She lived in Okinawa, Japan for six years.

Mrs. Morales holds a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education with Spanish concentration from Indiana State University (Terre Haute, IN), has a bilingual endorsement from the University of Houston, and was selected for the Summer Mathematics Project at Rice University (Houston, TX), where she took intensive training in mathematics education. Her teaching experience includes two years at Ruby Reed Intermediate and two years at Worsham Elementary (gifted and talented - bilingual program), both in Houston. College honors included a Sallie Mae First Class Teacher nomination, an ISU Academic Scholarship, the Pansy Beatrice Bryant Walker Teaching Scholarship and membership in Mortar Board Senior Honor Society.

Ms. Nie holds a B.A. degree in vocal performance/music education from DePauw University. She holds a M.M. degree from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She has worked as a fine arts/music teacher in Chicago and taught private voice and piano at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. She also has performed with the Cincinnati Opera.

Ms. Nole holds a bachelor's degree from Bellarmine Ursuline College in Louisville, where she majored in Spanish and minored in English and education. She also holds an endorsement in gifted and talented and educational research from Purdue University. She taught Spanish for 10 years at the Sycamore School (Indianapolis), where she created the Spanish curriculum for preschool through eighth grade. She has traveled extensively and studied Spanish in Spain, Mexico and Ecuador. Ms. Nole is a founding member of the Indiana Network for Early Language Learning and has served as its state vice president and president. She also has served as state president of the Indiana Foreign Language Teachers Association. In 2001 she was selected as IN-NELL's teacher of the year and inducted into the Sociedad Honoraria de Profesores de Espanol. In 2006 she was chosen as the Teacher of the Year for the Indiana Chapter of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese and the K-8 Teacher of the Year for IFLTA. She has worked as a member of the Indiana Department of Education task force to create standards for world language K-8 and K-12.

Mr. Nordby holds a bachelor of science degree in music education from the University of Indianapolis and a master of music performance degree from Ball State University. He has done post-graduate work in bassoon with Leonard Sharrow at Indiana University. He was professor of bassoon at DePauw University for 14 years. He has been a staff member at the International Glickman-Popkin Bassoon Camps since 1983, and is a bassoon repairman specializing in the restoration of older bassoons. He has performed as a freelance musician with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Ft. Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra and the Anderson Symphony since 1976. Before joining Park Tudor, Mr. Nordby was an instrumental music specialist for the Indianapolis Public Schools. He is a member of the Indiana Bandmasters Association and International Double Reed Society.

Mrs. Pellico holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Butler University with special endorsements. She began her teaching career at the Hasten Hebrew Academy of Indianapolis, where she served as an early childhood administrator as well as a classroom teacher. She has experience teaching in grades kindergarten through six. She has extensive training in technology and has presented technology workshops at national conferences. Mrs. Pellico enjoys traveling with her husband to experience new cultures and new places and is a volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel.

Ms. Petrov holds a M.A. degree in fibers from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a B.S. degree in physical education and dance from Indiana University. Her professional art experience includes working as a jacquard fabric designer at Blumenthal Printworks in New Orleans and as a print stylist with Burlington House Bedding in Greesnboro, NC. She previously was a summer program director and physical education teacher at St. Richard’s School.

Mrs. Presnal, a 1976 graduate of Park Tudor School (Toby Alex), holds a B.A. degree in psychology from Purdue University and certification in elementary education from IUPUI. She has worked as a substitute teacher at Guion Creek School and Carmel Clay Schools.

Mr. Regich holds a B.A. degree in Spanish and economics from Indiana University. He studied his junior year at la Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain. Upon graduating from IU, he returned to Spain and taught English in Barcelona at the elementary and middle school levels. In the summer of 2008 he completed studies for a master’s degree in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language from la Universidad de Granada (Spain). He has traveled extensively throughout Latin America and Europe and spends the summer months at his home in Barcelona, Spain where he continues his study of Spanish languages and cultures.

Ms. Sanoguet holds a master’s degree in Spanish Language and Culture from Salamanca, Spain. She earned an A.B. degree in business administration from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, as well as a general studies bachelor's degree from IUPUI. She is a member of the Indiana Network for Early Language Learning and the Indiana Foreign Language Teachers Association. She was previously Spanish teacher at Craig Middle School, where she was responsible for developing the middle school Spanish curriculum and was a member of the Cultural Competency Program. From 2003-2005 she was the instructional assistant for fourth and fifth grades at Forest Glen International School and coordinated the school’s Hispanic Festival. She also has been a caregiver and taught basic Spanish to preschoolers at Sunshine Place Day Care.

Mrs. Shula received her B.A. in secondary education from Purdue University. She also is an Orton Gillingham tutor. Before she began working full time at Park Tudor, she served as a board member for Junior League of Indianapolis, Julian Center, Indiana Juvenile Justice Task Force, and St. Margaret's Hospital Guild and was chair of the Indiana State Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee.

Ms. Strong served as Administrative Assistant in the Indianapolis Public School System from 1997-2006. She previously worked as an Administrative Assistant at Wishard Memorial Hospital. She has a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Tech University.

Mrs. Todd holds a B.A. degree in elementary education from Purdue University. She previously taught first grade at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic School in Fishers, fourth grade at Mary Castle Elementary School in Indianapolis, junior kindergarten at Canterbury School in Fort Wayne, and first, second and fourth grades at Forest Dale Elementary in Carmel. She also is an Indiana State Certified Mentor and private tutor.

Ms. Tucker studied elementary education at Indiana State University and IUPUI. She previously served as a teaching assistant at John Strange Elementary School for seven years. She is a member of Damar Guild and has served as president and vice president of this service organization.

Mrs. Wright holds a B.S. degree in elementary education, cum laude, with highest honors in elementary education, and an M.S. degree in education, both from Butler University. She previously taught grades 4 and 5 and served as grade 5 team leader at Fox Hill Elementary School and also taught fifth grade at Nora Elementary School. She has served as a "Mission to Mars" and "Space Camp" instructor at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis and as a guest instructor of shark dissection at Butler University. In addition, she was co-chair of the Science Curriculum Revision Committee for Washington Township Schools, served as lead trainer for the Indiana Department of Education for Authentic Science Assessment, and as a presenter at the Hoosier Association of Science Teachers conferences. Mrs. Wright is a member of the Hoosier Association of Science Teachers, Inc., the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the National Science Teachers Association.

Ms. Wright previously was director of operations at Herron High School and a special education assistant in Indianapolis Public Schools. She is currently enrolled in the Saint Mary of the Woods College preschool baccalaureate program.
