Learning Project

Everyone has a unique learning style. Some of us are “auditory” learners – we learn best by hearing. Others are “visual” learners, who better understand material by seeing it in writing or watching a demonstration. Yet others are “kinesthetic” learners, who can grasp a concept most successfully through hands-on activities.

With support of the Lilly Endowment, The Russel & Mary Williams Learning Project at Park Tudor School was created in 2003 to serve the students of Park Tudor, the greater Indianapolis community, and central Indiana by providing the knowledge, evaluation tools, and expertise to help each child reach his or her academic potential.

Realizing that each child has a unique learning style, The Learning Project’s goals are to provide resources and learning services for Park Tudor and central Indiana educators and to disseminate information about learning strategies and styles to a wider community via the Internet.
