Admission Requirements
The requirements of Park Tudor’s admissions process vary by grade level, but include these common elements:
• Application and $50 processing fee
• Confidential recommendations from current teachers
Teachers provide us with great insights into prospective students’ strengths and weaknesses.
• Transcripts or report cards
Past performance remains the single best predictor of future performance. Grades enable us to see how prospective students performed in a particular environment.
• Aptitude testing/assessment
Standardized assessments enable us to compare the performance of prospective students with our current students.
• Observation/interviews
We also learn about prospective students by observing them in group situations or by interviewing them.
• Essays
At appropriate age levels, we are interested in seeing how students express themselves in writing.
