In addition to a full-time staff of three school psychologists with expertise in learning services, the Learning Project also works with a team of tutors and consulting teachers to provide tutoring, academic enrichment and data analysis services.

Dr. Hamilton is responsible for student assessment and consultation with parents and faculty about how students can maximize their learning potential. He received his doctorate and master's degrees in clinical psychology from Indiana State University. He holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and anthropology from Washington and Lee University. Dr. Hamilton has worked as a staff psychologist for New Perspectives of Indiana Inc., conducting psychological assessments with children, adolescents and adults. His background also includes working with troubled adolescents and their families in the juvenile correctional system, developing assessment and intervention programs that have been used throughout the state of Indiana. His work has been published in psychology journals and newsletters, and he has presented symposia and papers and lectured at national and state psychological conferences and workshops. Dr. Hamilton holds awards in his field from the American Psychological Association and Indiana State University. He is a member of the Indiana Psychological Association.

Ms. Mercurio holds a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in Spanish and a master’s of science in education (school psychology) from Butler University, and is a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology. She worked as a school psychologist with the Anderson Community School Corporation from 1997-2005 and previously was a program manager and a crisis counselor/case manager with the Children's Bureau. Ms. Mercurio holds active memberships with the National Association of School Psychologists and the Indiana Association of School Psychologists.

Dr. Scott received her Ph.D. and master’s degrees in school psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California–Fresno. Dr. Scott received post-doctoral training from the School Neuropsychology Post-Graduate Certification Program based at Texas Women’s University. She is certified by the American Board of School Neuropsychology and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. In her role with the Russel & Mary Williams Learning Project and as the Middle School psychologist, Dr. Scott provides assessment, intervention, and support services to all Park Tudor Middle School students. She works closely with parents and teachers to help students better understand themselves and become lifelong independent learners. Dr. Scott taught graduate and undergraduate psychology courses at Martin University, worked as a school psychologist at Anderson Community Schools, was the assessment supervisor at Psychological Laboratories in Indianapolis, and was a clinician for several years at Austin Neurological Clinic. Dr. Scott has conducted workshops and lectured at a number of national and state psychological and educational conferences. Additionally, she has been a panelist and presided at the Learning & the Brain Conference. She is a member of the Indiana Association of School Psychologists, the National Association of School Psychologists, the International Association of School Psychologists and the American Psychological Association.
